How did you come up with the name Kristi Love?

@KristiLove1000 Story #1 Kristi was a girl I had a crush on in college. "Get Christie Love" was a movie and TV series in the mid seventies. I liked the way sounded better than Kristi's real last name. Hence the song.

Story #2 I saw your fabulous movie, immediately traveled back in time to 1987, wrote the song and waited 23 years to capitalize on your fine work and publicity. Believe what you want to believe. Chris.

Very nice Chris. Listening to both versions it is cool to hear the contrasts in both, as each version had a slightly different flavor to the song. I have always liked songs that end with a lead, regardless of which instrument. Well done.

Thanks so much Eugene, I've actually spent much of the month photographing lighthouses in Michigan, but as yet to write anything that fits the images I've seen. I love to experiment and keep peoples eyes busy, this was definitely an attempt to dazzle the eyes as well as the ears. Chris

How do you make those psychedelic video effects?

Thanks so much! It's a combination of effects from light tunnel effects with a paisley blanket, windows media player effects, panning with some computer drawings I made and all of the colors being modified with the iMovie program I use. In other words I threw in everything but the kitchen sink. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. Chris

Melancholy, yes. I wrote this about 20 years ago when I was in college, the girl almost forgotten now with time. Except of course for the song. Unrequited love songs tend to write themselves, music has always been my therapy for difficult times, when I'm happy I can't write a thing. That's probably why I'm posting an old favorite rather than something new. I'm in a pretty nice place now. Especially with all these warm regards. Thanks again Chris.
