Alot has changed since the 1950s when he went there. He, just like the North Korean population, haven't been subject to outside information. He went to a war when he was younger, and probably didnt know much about North Korea, or how terrible it was. He's just as brainwashed as everyone else in the DPRK.
Either that, or he was kidnapped, as is being told to tell the cameras he's living 'the good life in paradise'.

I am Currently in The Process of Being a North Korean Lavishmen but I cant just Buy that I need to Earn it from THe Korean Peoples Assembly. All I can do until Then is Praise North Korea its Leaders and People by Visiting and Supporting.
