The move he does at 0:15 I saw a cowboy do the Wensday before New years. Problem is it was during a 2 step about 30 couples on the dance floor. There was not alot of room. It would take just one knee to her head to hurt that girl on hurt the other dancer. Plus he was dancing off time. A week later he ask me to teach him west coast swing. I told him he needed to learn to dance on time he then said I don't need to learn that shit. He & a girl went to my friend who teaches like me. He'll learn now!

He's got the turns down, but it needs some sort of rhythm to make it cohesive. It is just one move after another.

Learn how to communicate with your partner WHILE dancing and moving. It'll make your moves much more seemless. You might want to take up lindy (or wcs, hell, even cha cha) if you want to learn to incorporate your ariels into your dancing.

@vision40 Until you're uploading your own videos of you being a superior dancer, then I suggest you quiet down. This is obviously an informal video and a slight pause is your complaint? Who cares, it's a lot better to clarify rather than attempt something and be confused which leads to dropping the poor girl.

@jaysk8er I agree with vision40 I've had private lessons with Corky Ballas, 8 x swing champion Tatiana Mollmann & 9 x C&W champion Ronnie DeBennedetta. The pros are smart they say not to do these on a floor with more than 4 couple! I've seen a drunk cowboy do an over the head lift & then drop the girl on her head I've seen a couple do a death spiral hit another couple knocking that girl down but the girl doing the spiral limped away. Most guys say they've never had lessons & don't need them!

@eztr1gger- they actually are doing closer to a hustle. It's not a perfect hustle neither is it a perfect swing. But then again, there are many types of swing.. They did alot of country two step which is what I believe they were going for... In my area we would have called it a two step or a hustle, defiantly not East Coast or WCS. I thought it was very well done and they stayed in one very small circle for most of it. I was impressed and look forward to when I learn lifts like that :)

@Vollynz - I agree. Why are you guys such on a rush? Looks like you're trying to pull as many spins or moves as you can, with little regard for the pace of the music. Seems to me the footwork needs more attention too.
