I essentially agree with Emaster but I'd put it differently: a dance instructor is first and foremost a teacher and in that role, she/he must dress professionally. Belly shirts are definitely not a piece of clothing that a teacher should have on while doing her job. Now, a dancer who's a performer is a different story.
