I just tried Skikes today for the first time - I think about getting them to prepare for cross country skiing in winter. Until now I did a similar thing with my old crosscountry poles and inline skates, but you build up too much speed with inline skates.
The skikes you see in the video really do not go that fast because of the air inflated tires. you get pretty much the same speed as going on cc-skies.
