Um..you do have control of the ship. You can move with WSAD but the ship follows your mouse pointer. So it moves according to your mouse so saying it auto does it for you is a mistake. Go back to taking English classes, you're not very bright to say something like that. The game's story is awesome and there are dungeons and shit. Please give SWTOR a fair review by someone who understands mmorpgs and rpgs.

It would be nice to see Battlefront 3.......this looks....well, like an MMO version of action.....and it pulls it off about as well as to be expected from an MMO of this type. I would love to see some NEW gameplay additions to MMO's (MMORPG if you prefer) this is pretty much voiced everquest in the star wars universe. aside from the voice acting and story tweaks (which add only to cut scenes and such) I see nothing new here, just spit and polish on an old idea.

Yeah it's a nice thing they added to be fair, but it would've been nice if they expanded upon the space game-play. I guess we can always hope that in the future they do expand upon it with patches and expansions. Imagine a complete EVE Online style mechanic for the space part of the game, that would be amazing.

I love space combat, it's a great change of pace when you return from flashpoints or quests. The first thing I thought when I saw the space combat trailer was "how are they gonna make that multiplayer?" This is about the only aspect about SWTOR that I really dislike. I think even Star Wars Galaxies had better space combat than SWTOR.

DA 2 was down right attrocious with an even number of people on both sides condemning/supporting the game making it as far as i know biowares first Love it Hate it game in the past 10 years. Similarly ME 2 has enough problems it brings flak from non-magazine sources. Though ME2 doesn't damage it's own fiction insessently and still manages to provide a good game sticking to the core ideas in the Mass Effect series

That not good enough for you? check out their extensive advertisement of Mass Effect Merch. You realize that star wars is more about jedis and storylines and the characters in them not space battles. Space battles is always an extra bonus for Star Wars. Play the star wars games and watch the movie, ship battles are just a +.

The first thing I thought when I saw the space combat trailer was "how are they gonna make that multiplayer?" This is about the only aspect about SWTOR that I really dislike. I think even Star Wars Galaxies had better space combat than SWTOR.

@Cloakedsro actually see dragon age 2 and the noticeable story issues with ME 2. DA 2 was down right attrocious with an even number of people on both sides condemning/supporting the game making it as far as i know biowares first Love it Hate it game in the past 10 years. Similarly ME 2 has enough problems it brings flak from non-magazine sources. Though ME2 doesn't damage it's own fiction insessently and still manages to provide a good game sticking to the core ideas in the Mass Effect series

@misterhamster90 As you can see from thsoe 2 releases and the fact BW's name has been stamped on an RTS not an RPG we have clear evidence Bioware is begining to sell out/go down hill. That not good enough for you? check out their extensive advertisement of Mass Effect Merch. Rather than letting folks who want it find it by making it obvious they're practically forcing it down Viewers throats. Bioware has been set up for failure by EA at this point. Unless ME 3 is Amazing BW is a sunken ship.

It's good to finally hear IGN admitting the game is not all that their hype lead us to believe, even if with much restraint. Time to stop kissing the corporate butt and save your subscribers their game-time and money on this failed attempt at being a WOW-killer. Hype it up again once its free-to-play.

Honestly Im playing this game I have been since early access, And its one of the most bug ridden, un-original, repetitive, boring mmos ever. It starts off nice but slopes down pretty fast.

Its buggy, its repetitive, its a clone of WoW, it does nothing everyone else isnt doing. This MMO will be dead in 1 year quote me. come back when its free to play and quote me.

Nothing this game has, beyond the novelty of it being "Star Wars", is that innovative. And that which IS... sorta... new, is buggy, boring and suffers from style-over-substance (much like every MMO you people dub "WoW Killer", at least until they get Free-To-Play'd).

stop complaining you bad game rater >: p get grade 5 + upgrades, EMP gear for your ship and 40+ space missions and then rate it, plus quit asking for a second game within an MMO and do it your self if you want it, space combat is mindless fun meant for extra gain of EXP.
