I think kinect and move are better for different people, kinect is good because you don't need a game to use it, you can use it on the dashboard, it has facial recognition and voice recognition which is really good, the gaming on it will be quite fun.

Move is basically a better version of the WII, will have good game play, but it means to have the best game play you will need like 8 controllers (there's 2 different ones you can use together) and that adds up

Although Kinect does bring alot more depth of features to the UI table, I think it might suffer from the same fate as the Wii; it will be very intricate for the time, but just won't work extremely smoothly. I think the Playstation move is keeping things simpler, and going with a beefed up form of the Wii's gameplay. I think coupled with the features of the Playstation 3, it will ultimately fullfill a more whole home entertainment system.

I have a ps3 and a wii and I have to admit, Kinect looks pretty cool, however, Move is also pretty cool because you have the choice, sit down, or stand up, you can even play shooters with it. I admit you have a point Jon but I don't see hardcore gamers sinking into the Kinect as much as the old school controllers. It may give them a new experience but looking at the prices of the current games and controllers I myself as a gamer I'm not about to go for it unless a decent game makes it worth it. Keeping in mind CNBC as an international channel, I think it also varies where you live. Here in Europe we got countries in financial crisis and other countries have a very low wage.
