erm...............i am sorry, but i don't quite agree with you that ALL channel 8 long running drama serials are doomed to fail. holland v is a classic example. it won many awards, including the 'best drama serial' and many actresses and actors in it also either won the award or one of the final nomanies. but i sort of agree with u that other than it, others are quite long-winded, although i am a supporter of channel 8. (:

i think this will be an epic fail. i'm sorry, but since when has mediacorp made a 100-episode drama that's not draggy? and now they're making a 180-episode one? the cinematography looks good, but i don't think i'll be able to say the same for the plot. i hope i'm proven wrong, though. (i didn't say this to offend anyone; please no thumbs down.)
