i was in Iran this summer, I was there at the protest, she was killed only a few blocks away from my great uncle's house. I miss her alot. She'll never be forgotten.
Yes, I am from America, and YES I HATE THE SHIT OUT OF IRAN. They like to randomly kill people for no reason and oppose really ridiculous laws upon its already fear-stricken people. Burn, Iran, burn to the ground. Just become extinct with the dinosaurs.
Dont let her death be for nothing!!!! If you dont give up their is nothing they can do to stop you, they cant kill all of you. FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!!! LIBERTY OR DEATH!!! I wish I could do something to help the people of Iran but since im on the other side of the globe all I can do is stand in solidarity with you.
this image has been haunting me for the last three days since I saw it.. her last moments as she looks at the guy filming her... did she realize she was being filmed in that state of hers?... was she hoping that the video of her being shot and dying will help their cause?.. or was she saying Im dying now.. let me die with dignity and dont show this video of me dying to anyone ..?
God bless you Neda, I hope your death doesnt go in vain and may God bless your soul and your family.
ur a moron, jus cuz ppl r upset about "1" girl diing doesnt mean the 80 in a car bombing doesnt matter. both situations r fucked up... but to watch this video nd then post something like that ... u jus make urself look like a complete fucking idiot
That doesn't even make sense, congratulations, you are retarded as well.
Make a point, or address an issue, random misspelled words do not make a coherent sentence, and random "sentences" do not make a comment.
Try again. My earlier point stands, who cares about this girl? there are hundreds of people getting killed in a war and people are concerned over this ONE girl?
I don't mean to found flippant, but it's called multitasking. People can be concerned about casualties of war, and a girl who was shot during a protest.
Also, this girl was not a soldier. She was an unarmed protester who was murdered by a raping, oppressive paramilitary militia for the crime of speaking out against a corrupt theocrat. I think you question would be better phrased, "why doesn't everyone care?"
Neda's death has driven home to people the horror of violence and how it is getting out of hand. Neda died standing up for what she belived in. She has shown the world that the Iranian people will not be silenced, that they deserve more then what they are getting out of the current administration. And her death has shown the world exactly what kind of thoughtless and uncaring people are really running Iran. What kind of government cares not about their poeple, but about power and superiority?
Way to go you brave policeman...you killed a 16 year old girl! I say "small penis!!!" You fuck! You prove only that you and your hirsute-laden gov't will die very soon too. Shame on the Iranian gov't for allowing this to happen. What are you afraid of, you fucked up religious zealots! Yes, the USA has blood on its hands too, but the reaction is the same--WTF! I'm sure there are hundreds more just like Neda that we haven't seen...who speaks for them? Neda?
Irishmen and women have faught for peace and freedom for over 300 years against British rule and interference resulting in thousands of lost lives. Shame on the Iranian Government for oppressing their people. Freedom and peace is a goal worth fighting for. People of Iran don't give up.
All government is corrupt... I wish this would end.. but this will only be the beginning! My heart goes out to her family and friends! Peace be with you Neda! You no longer have to be afraid xx
Such a tragedy, I am an American and this kind of violence among the Iran people is despicable. People of Iran, you are doing what is right, stand up for what you believe in! My prayers, thoughts and love are with you. Gods judgement will rain down on this evil!
Freedom of speech or simply freedom is never free. What so many take for granted has always had a cost, and it is almost always paid for in blood. This has happened in the past even in the USA people coming forward for what they believe in - killed. Many like this woman who spoke for what they believed in cut down, imprisoned, persecuted by tyrannical oppressive governments and those who are supposed to help us. Do Not Forget their sacrifices or the families of those who paid for your freedom!
Look in her eyes and take a moment to think about her last seconds...
WHY???????
Rest in peace, Neda.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I only have one thing to say:
Who cares?
There are hundreds of people dying, even in this news report it says 80 died in a car bombing just then.
Why is this *1* girl special?
-She isn't.
-Media propaganda and sensationalism ftw.

because its represents the corruptness of the Iranian government and the effects it has on people.

You mean like the unarmed individuals who are murdered by the U.S. troops on a daily basis?
This woman is not special. She does not deserve any extra attention.
People are sheep and will follow what the media tells them.
