Day but it really works. After a while you will get used to it. Also drink lots of water! I can't really exercise because I had back surgery and have a metal pole in my back so I have to lose just by diet alone. I lost my dad in Dec and I used my grief as fuel to keep going. Think of your loved ones or the future to keep going. Trust me when you see results it feels soo good. Sorry for the long comment just trying to give you some helpful tips. :)

I used to eat one big,unhealthy meal a day too. Some helpful tips, figure out the lowest amount of calories a day you need based on your height age and weight (google it) and eat healthier meals and snacks 4-6 times a day to boost your metabolism. It is very hard at first to eat smaller portions so many times a
