As I checked all from TV, VHS, DVD, and even Blu-Ray, this short was still cut due to straight jacket and some other parts, too. Until you found this conplete unedited short. So thanks for sharing this one. I still wish DVDs and Blu-Rays would put up this full cartoon. At least a full Tanks-For-Giving special would do.
I've been waiting for the full Duck Dodgers cartoon for a long time now and finally it's shown UNCUT. Great job in finding it.
Also, technically speaking, if Marvin DID want to blow up the Earth, it would take 1 septillion megatons. Found it out watching a Manswers show. 30 million ain't gonna cut it.
I don't know about the Fuel Problems, but you solved our problem of having a FULL Uncut Version of... (runs up to the top of a spaceship) "DUCK DODGERS, and the Return of the Twenty-Fourth-And-A-Half CENTURY!"
This is "Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24 1/2th Century," produced in 1980 and directed by Chuck Jones.
It was originally intended to be shown with "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" but was held back and eventually included in the TV special "Daffy Duck's Thanks-for-giving Special" (1981).
@dnm72863 Actually, this episode ORIGINATED from the Daffy Duck Thanks-For-Giving Special, but was later edited into an individual short (much like how the 1979/1980 Bugs Bunny Christmas and Summertime TV Specials were split into separate shorts), whose edited version is shown here.
@YouToons100 I remember those mostly because they would stick them on "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show" in the early 80's and other WB-related shows. I think the part where Marvin sets off the missile usually got removed in the short versions but I remember seeing that in the "Thanks-For-Giving" Special too.

So why was this deleted from the released episode? Is it because Marvin was going full interplanetary terrorist on us? Or something? XD
