What corruption? I haven't been able to find any information linking Joe Biden and corruption. Please list your sources. He indicated that Obama was not ready to run for President. That is undeniable. However, given how Obama has conducted his campaign, maybe he's changed his mind. I don't think Biden has a reputation for being for sale. He thought Clinton would win the primary and he didn't want to play second fiddle to Bill. Unlike some rigid pols, it seems he can change his mind.

I am 63 years old, have voted every election since I was 18, served 10 years in the military, 2 tours in View Nam and love my country. In my opinion, which I have a right to have, "All" the politicians in Washington have been bought and paid for. I do believe Biden is corrupt along with all the others. I can be cynical if I choose. Hotshot, you are only a few years my senior. It is easy to be cynical, I agree. All we can do is do our homework, research the candidates and cast our vote responsibly. Personally, I favored Biden long before he entered the primaries because, other than his vote for the Iraq War resolution, he is knowledgeable and prudent on foreign policy. My druthers would have been a Biden Obama ticket, but Obama has run such an effective campaign, I feel very comfortable with voting Dem this time around.

Well, shouldn't he become familiar with a bill before he signs off on 700 Billion dollars? Obama was there, the cameras were on, and Obama said nothing because "it might disrupt the process" ...Today Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is crediting the entire plan to Obama. He doesn't even speak and gets credit...guess that's not a stunt. Give ME a break!

And you think McCain who started this whole talk of urgency saved the day? They both did nothing there. They both were not needed there..it was actually disruptive that they were there. McCain made a big deal of it and Obama had to play along because you know if he didn't..again..this is what McCain's been banking on that Americans would be stupid enough to think..Obama doesn't care because he didn't show up to the meeting to discuss the bailout deal.
