  • Ravel always has a flow to his melody .Debussy has so much fragmentation it's always difficult to understand what is really happening in his music!.

  • minor fuck up at 3:13, but other then that this was awful.

  • bravo! :) wonderful job! How did you like the piano?

  • Thanks, man. This piano is not bad. It sounds pretty smooth and silky which I like. However, it was poorly regulated on this day - as I remember. What do you think of the piano?

  • ^_^ well, i can't really comment fully since I haven't had the pleasure of playing it. It looks well maintained in the video, but I know all to well that a piano can look great and play crappy. :) Also, it's hard to tell on camera how nice of condition the instrument is in! I'd say you played well, I'm not very familiar with this piece though. I'm sure you played it better than I could've done!

  • Wonderful!

  • Here in what turned out to be Debussy's farewell to the piano (an instrument whose repertoire he revolutionized), we see his harmonic language (so associated with diaphanous "impressionistic" effects) carved in granite, so to speak - note the use of the whole tone scale beginning at around 0:50.

  • Peut-être que ralentir un peu l'allure permettrait d'économiser les fausses notes... Dommage...

  • c'est pas prokofiev...

  • Bastante bueno...
