@cs512tr Good idea, but for security and insurance purposes, the sprinkler control valves are in a secured hidden room, that's accessible only by fire dept or building manager. That's like this, because also, if the valve is accessible, any evil people can close it, and in case of fire, the sprinklers will not go off, and the fire will be let to destroy the building.

@R5H4D0W Oh, yes, because bowling pinspotter and ball return machines are very expensive, and 4 of them were replaced. Also the alleys were wooden (not synthetic), and they were dried with super dry air coming from some hoses connected to a truck from a water damage restoration company, after 2 weeks of drying, they were sanded, re-varnished (with a special and expensive varnish), and finally re-oiled, with a special oil for bowling alleys.

No.  They're oiled daily and so the water just ran off, into the gutters and under the lanes. It stank more than anything.

@StopDropandLOL ya, like crap. In seconds follows the sprinkler activation, the water is sometimes black (yes, like car drain oil). But when with the time and the flow, when less dirty water comes, the black colour fades slowly, until the water is clear.
