The blood effects in AC1 are so much better than in AC2. In fact there are quite a few times when I think AC1 looks better. Its inferior in all other gameplay aspects but AC2 doesn't look as good as it should at times.

Same. The controls and mechanics were PERFECT (except maybe more weapons but thats minor cuz the ones you DO have are great). Really good graphics. Pretty good story. Repetitive missions (some of them really cool though). Oh well AC2 seems like itll correct that.

It was a solid game but I expect it to be great. The side missions sucked and they needed to make the assassinations more creative. I expected a medieval Hitman essentially.

I hope so. I was just dissapointed because it had alot of unrealized potential. I found the fighting system to be to easy as well. it was cool but after awhile I found the only reason I even ran from the gaurds is because they respawned on a loop.

It's not really that hard at all seeing as you can complete the entire game using nothing but the hidden blade. If you counter attack with the hidden blade it will ALWAYS instant kill.

you can counter attack with the longsword the same way and i kinda prefer the longsword a little bit more cause not all the shortblade attacks well kill ur enemy the longsword though has higher percent of killing

Probably, but it would be a bit more difficult. You earn the ability to counter-attack a bit later in the game. If you have a 360, all you have to do is hold L, and when they come to attack you, push X at the right time.

Yes it's repetitive...but the game allows for you to do the missions differently each time. Not the same exact thing(such as just killing guards. YOu can also sneak past them, or simply just run away) and i agree. The cut scenes are annoying
