So instead of doing the kickass guitars he did with It Bites he just strums some acoustic? Damn, what a shame. Well he's singing it and I guess to most people that's the main point...
Ahh.............Franky... aint he ice cool live.....thought i would say this though...that obama bloke from across the pond is maybe wantin to use 'i believe i can change my world' for his campain across america.. lets hope he does
I was there! My first Frankie concert, I loved it, I was almost crying because I was so chuffed to be there. I'm only 16 and my Mum would never let me go before :(
Im a HUGE It Bites fan but with no disrespect to the original this just goes to show that Dunnery IS It Bites im afraid.., it actually sounds better than the original to me, sounds so full and really rocks at the end (The drummer really awesome with double pedal work) wish i had seen this live- Great post !! Nice one !
Peter John Vettesse on keyboards is one of the greatest and unknown synth players in the world. Does a lot of production work now. Played in the past with Jethro Tull and was instrumental in developing their 'synth sound' in the eighties. I think it's testament to Francis Dunnery's' weight in the music world that he got Vettesse on board. Of course, they could just be good mates :-p
Was also there, was brilliant, lost no touch, without a doubt. The whole band was great, the keyboard player was a complete dude, and the drummer looks suspiciously like Anthony Worral Thompson... the support band were pretty cool too, Chavtastic! Well done Frankie!
I have loads of IT BITES live from 86-89 on CD from crowd taping, if anyone is interested, please email me

This was always one of my favourites. Even the crappy sound still conveys the intensity

It Bites - his former band & Midnight, one of their (His) classics.
