The "knee joint" theory is also called "buckling" and claims that once the columns bent and kinked they offered no more resistance than a hinge. Both are possible explanations if and only if one can explain why all the support columns shattered or buckled as the same time. If some buckled or shattered but others did not, no free fall. Ideas?

@Eye2EyeIIIV Bush, and Cheney in particular, are war criminals but to think that a cover-up, of the grand size you are suggesting, could possibly work is absurd. Think about how many people would have to be involved. If you don't bother to think about it, it seems plausible. It is an unfortunately specious notion, but practically impossible.

There's plenty of evidence supporting 9-11 truthers, do a search for the Journal of 9/11 Studies. If you're a h.s. dropout or flunked math and science, there are plenty of online courses where you can learn it.

One article from "Journal of 9/11 Studies" that refutes the official story. My contention is there is nothing that refutes the official story, just innuendo and baseless speculation.

If you understood science, you'd understand that it's the consensus of the scientists opinions in a specialty that determines accepted theories. There are always individuals w/tangent opinions. It's up to them to approach other scientists in there community. I think it's telling that the "expert or authority" in this vid is a theologian.

Wrong. You don't take votes to determine the truth. Most engineers and scientists don't even know about WTC7's collapse and are ignorant about the details of the Twin Towers collapse.
Instead you publish in peer reviewed papers and if someone can find a flaw in your argument you publish your refutation. All attempted refutations of the peer reviewed articles published on the stj911 . org website have fell flat on their face.

What exactly is your theory? There are many different theories in opposition to the official story. I don't want to assume what you think. Was the collapse a planned detonation in your opinion? Did the administration have a direct connection to the incident, fore-knowledge?

The Bush admin was only in power for 9 mos, so they wouldn't have had enough time to plan the incident.
It's possible top admin officials knew an attack was coming and agreed to let it happen. If that's the case, it's also possible they thought it was a real alQaeda attack as opposed to a false flag attack.
I don't know for sure who pulled it off, but former Pres of Italy for 7 years, Francesco Cossiga, said it was a CIA-Mossad operation. He was involved in and revealed Operation Gladio.

I'm not a professor, but the Missing Jolt paper disproves the NIST Bazant hypothesis, it doesn't prove demolition.
I wouldn't say the ae911truth paper proves demolition either. However, it disproves their collapse theory, and NIST hasn't and imo can't come up with an explanation (other than explosives) for the energy source that removed the lower portion of the building while the upper portion fell at freefall acceleration, straight down, for 2.25 secs.

Hi IWETF: I'm not going to pretend to know what if anything this paper means, it's relevance, it's authors credentials or if it's been peer reviewed and criticized. I'm also not going to do what i often accuse Truthers of doing, dismissing opposing views out of hand. It fell "demolition style" with 25 meters of free fall acceleration, proving that a 25 meter segment of vertical support was removed from all over the base at nearly the same time. Steel weakened by fire will not explain it because weakened steel retains some of its strength even if it can no longer support its load. It is very improbable that scattered fires would cause simultaneous failure over several floors, over the 100meter wide base.

Hi, if i may answer that: There is indeed plenty of omissions, distortions, misrepresentation, lies, inconsistencies etc. It is prudent to question the official story because a lot of it makes no logical sense and defies many laws of science, aeronautics etc. Yes this is vague however i could write pages wrt to what i have discoveredby combining research with uncontaminated critical thinking- this is difficult for most because the very concept of an inside job is very threatening to our paradigm

If by original story you mean how things unfolded that day, there is mountains of evidence in the 911 report. That doesn't mean they can answer every question. But it unravels as best they can what happened that day.
