@jinto1980 Actually, I think those that made it to level 30 before the price was enacted get it free. I am level 34, (was actually for quite a while, I switch off ships a lot), and they don't charge me. That is probably what it is. Or its a kink in the system, but I wouldn't think they would suddenly charge players who have been playing for years.

Battlestations Midway is one of the most unrealistic peaces of garbage I've ever seen. I mean really in a battleship you have to get within 5km or less to actually hit a BB. One of my fav old games for the snes P.T.O.

lol u noobs you know battlefield 1942 can be MODDED!?!? theres hundreds of mods for download out there to make it UBER realistic such as FH(forgotten hope .7) FHSW(forgotten hope secret wepons .32beta2 mini mod of FH requires FH to run FHSW) Desert combat .7(.8 for DC final) DC is a modern combat mod its some long ohurs of downloading but well worth it FHSW puts battlefield 2 too shame

Whats diffrent with Battlefield? Everything :) Navyfield is based on WW2 like Battlefield 1942, but Navyfield is only at sea. Battlefield are almost only in air or land. Its much diffrence about it .. you should try them both :)

the planes aren't facing wrong. They're seaplanes, launched from steam catapults. They're facing the way the ship is heading to use the speed of the ship itself to help get lift on launch/takeoff from the deck.

the graphics are better. The crew has shifts so you no longer have to switch out crew men on long missions. Other then that and the fact that it takes place in the pacific vrs the Japs then its along the same line as 3

I´ve both, graphically, SH4 is 1000 times better, but in gameplay SH3 is better, the interface of SH4 is a shit, and the campain of SH3 is better too. (whit GX2)

SH4 only beat SH3 in their grapics, all of the other things sucks, SH3 rocks, except in graphics and in the loading time...

Even the graphics arent as good in my opinion, the lack of anti aliasing means everything is blocky and not smooth. Plus as you say the gameplay is pitiful compared to Silent Hunter 3.
