Makes me think of the aftermath of that World In Conflict trailer with the chopper getting destroyed. My idea shows an officer aboard one of the other choppers that got hit landing, stumbling around for a second or two, then trying to rally his men into a valiant counter-assault, retaking the entire position at the cost of his life, and showing the men chanting "shadow on the sun!" as his body is borne away by his closest friends, his arms crossed on his rifle.

I know what you mean... I liked Audioslave's first album, but there's a pattern with their songs being 90% great, but an annoying 10% that doesn't fit at all with the rest of their song, just sorta thrown in there.

On this one you have that weird solo after 2:30, and then Cornell shouting "SUUUUUUN!" at the end of a generaly mild song. Same goes with the weird solo on Like a Stone around 3:15.

I actually like the quirky unexpected bits that don't seem to belong the most. Gives it a feeling that it isn't so formulaic and that you don't know what's coming. I'm tired of standard predictable verese/chorus/verse stuff. I like the left-field things in a lot of Audioslave's songs. It's what sets them apart.
