Wow, when was this?! First time I've heard a newscaster actually refer to a locomotive as a "locomotives". Usually news reporters call them everything but locomotives (engines, trains, first car, car pulling in the front, etc)

The train did not stop soon enough and the engine hit the counterweight for the lift bridge. The house is the control shed for the bridge.
