This issue is simply fantastic! The summary of the decade is simply a work of a genius. The way that the media ignores all the really important, crucial world issues: the terrible tragedies, the real war crimes, the despicable dehumanization and cruelty that is really happening in this world, our biased media chooses its petty, incredibly trivial issues on the basis of petty political considerations. "Chapeau" to the people who know to express so accurately our sad reality!

this is satire, dude. you could say the same about the children from beslan and about 9/11. its not aimed to make you laugh, but to show how ridiculuous is paying so much attention to a jewish settler building a shack on some deserted hill, while the whole world is on fire and iran is preparing a nuclear bomb.

There are enough ways to ridicule anti Israeli bias without using a true image of a dying child. Not much different than palliwood using grief of children for the shock affect. Latma went too far this time. A crying shame especially because they also produce some truely brilliant skits.

how on earth did you get from this to pallywood. there is one huge difference: pallywood is a lie, latma is satire. you may agree or not with the message or with the way it is brought, but it is not aimed to mislead you or make you believe in things that are not true. gosh man, i think you should be fair enough to take back this comparison.

then in your eyes - taking this picture was wrong in the first place? it surely meant to make the viewer realize the suffering of african children. is it the same as pallywood, bcz the means are the same even though the end goal is different?

Taking this picture to report the situation without concealing the boy's identity (i.e. concealing the face) was utterly wrong. How would you feel if you were helpless and someone would start taking photos of you and then show it to the whole world? Mind you, in Israel you cannot show a photo of a minor, even under very good circumstances, without parents' permission. Using it again, without disclosing the kid's identity, for any purpose other then mere reporting is even more wrong.

Global media uses these pictures all the time. There is no moral obligation not to do so.

The fact that global media does so has nothing to do with the moral aspect of it. Global media slanders Israel too and we can both agree it's not moral. If you show a kid's photo when he is in distress than have the decency to conceal his face. He is not an object but a human being just like your kid. Let alone if you do it for satirical purposes.
