  • I heard premo is now bout to work with J cole & Drake. Can anyone here fill me in?

  • I love these dudes! BK ALL DAY! This CD was surely one of the best of the year it came out! Always consistently dope!

  • really can t say what is more shiny..whether fames hat or billys head:D

  • i just raped the shit out of the replay button.......

  • This Sounds like a 9th wonder type of beat

  • primo danmmmmmm top five dead or alive dontt give a fuckkk ohh

  • YALL MUST NOT BE LISTENING TO TH MUSIC CUZ PREEMO KILLED THIS BEAT FOR HIM TO USE A DIANA ROSS SAMPLE AN FINESSE IT LIKE THIS IS A GIFT...

  • THIS IS DIANA ROSS SAMPLE

  • this is the weakest premo beat of all time.

  • preemo said in an interview he didnt have enough time to make the album cut with the scratches, but he did produce this

  • we keep it thuggy on massive seal

money growin like grass with the mass appeal

  • harsh shit, 'what i wanna be IF i grow up'

  • i first heard the original than i switche dback to this one,it gave me thrills, hands down preemo

  • WHEN DIS COMIN OUT????

  • @Styalzfuego its already out, get it!

  • @josj15 i got ur point, u rite premo's prime was in the 90's, but he still producers bangers every single year, like the az tracks which came out in 2005/2006, or the cormega tracks, the ludacris was dope too etc... to me his beats don't sound the same, they all have his signature sound, but he definitely tries sumthin new, like the aguilera tracks, the "shake this" record was sumthin different, same goes for "project boy", and "what i wanna b" too

  • @AMAruofAssassinz @josj15 ~ Im going to have to disagree strongly. Life is all about progress. You cant stick with the same sound forever, and besides you KNOW this nicca has classics on STASH he wont give out !!! "Boom" and "Hip-Hop" came out after 2G, and Yes AZ's stuff is always on point, Sheeit.. I have some Cormega, Ali Vegas, and Snoop Dogg beats on my channel that are blazzzin'... Have y'all heard the Nick Javas "opportunity knocks" beat ?! The problem is, the fans aren't growing w/ him.

  • @thegreeniydbandit Word. also the joiint he did 4 big shug"let the music play", as well as skyzoo&torae's "get it done". peace.

  • @josj15 just to close it up, i think this year is one of premo's best in a long time, and the best tracks didn't even come out yet, i guess the kanye tracks, the collabo with the game, hopefully busta finally picks one of preem's beats, and of course the nygz and nick javas albums will be amazingly dope. not to mention the pete rock vs dj premier album

  • @AMAruofAssassinz ^^I cosign this!!!!^^ Not sure about the Nick Javis stuff though

  • @josj15 nah man, ur entitled to your opinion! i cant say i agree tho, i mean, what about the whole 'ownerz' gangstarr album in 2003, that album was an instant classic, and really there has been many bangers from him since then til now. peace!

  • @motboy2 you right, you right, ownerz was dope, ok maybe not ALL his post 2001 stuff but you get my point, i hear you too tho

  • @josj15 what the fuck do you expect how much brain capacity can one possibly use on music production? Premo has made thousands of tracks and has slacked on so few i couldnt even count em on my fingers. little respect huh cats been in the game for twenty five + years

  • @josj15 , sounds the same? LMAO!

  • @josj15 I know what you mean, but how many beats do you think he can come up with? :P

  • DJ Premier makes fckng crazy beats..

  • Wow! Preem never ceases to amaze me! Where else do u hear really thoro shit like this. Any drum pattern, any sample, fuck it, Preem got ya! That's why he easily my all-time favorite producer. Gang Starr(RIP Guru--my brotha), M.O.P all classics! Lovin this joint tho, its smooth but rugged. Say it wit me...REWIND!! Preem you're the Gr8est, word up!

  • sick sample!

  • RIP GURU

  • its a very creative sample of the original... some producers just loop a beat or chorus but this sounds so different from the original diana ross song... my fav song on the track.

  • @cianamja yeah love this joint. it's hot

  • @Difunto777 You forgot Hip Hop is a way of life and not a job :]

  • acknowledge flame when you hear it.

  • outlaws flow tell me im wrong

  • kinda has a 9th wonder sound to it. love premos beats and scratchin ability

  • Exactly what I thought when I first heard it...just cause the old soul sample...the drums have Premier all over them though.

  • Shit is on rotation...crazy...

  • loving this beat wana hear big shug or guru on it tho

    AND I B B

  • Such a smooth beat but somehow m.o.p makes it rugged as shit.. they never disappoints neither does premier

  • This beat has certain deepness in it. Great work from preem as always.

  • this beat is killa

  • one of my buddies tells me to try that drake song out listen to it like terrible shit then put this on fuck this is real hip hop not that new shit

  • @guitardeez

    amen brother

  • beat is sick, mop is sick. although I think someone rapping less shouty (guru?) would have sound better in combination with this beat.

    anyways, big up!

  • damn guru woulda been nice on this

  • yooooo peepz i got only one thing to say THERE IS HARDCORE AND M.O.P.

  • Probably the only Rap act from the 90's that have yet to lick balls and sellout to the mainstream sound, so far !

  • Some 1 Post this Instrumental Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yo what happened to teflon? he aint on da album!

    m.o.p's cappadonna! lol

  • Premier is the 5th element of hip-hop!! Primo & Mash Out back in the house, fiyaaaa!

  • with that smooth track I was ready for bald head slick to come back and flow, but M.O.P. pulled this track off and the hook is nice too.

  • no what they say is wrong, even though i will rock this shit on youtube, i will inevitably buy the album because i'm not always in front of my computer and i have to have the track accesible at all times, so it doesen't matter if ur music ir right, ppl will buy it anyway, it's the bullshit jayz track that i hear once online and i'm straight, but this right here i have to buy

  • I made an instrumental haha

  • aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh m.o.p. big up

  • good song to chill and get high to

  • is this Hell Rell on the hook?....

  • no man, it's the r&b singer rell, not Hell Rell the gangsta

  • no Rell without the hell

  • MOP and Premier, what can I ask more...

  • i think dis a classic like warriorz

  • Premo said this beat was made in Dilla's honor when he passed...but Fame loved it so much he told Premier he want it for MOP album

  • greatest track on album

  • rell killed the hook.......this reminds me of the 90's....that feel good hip hop.

  • anyone got the instrumental for this?

  • mop lyrics have always been tight!! premiere is a beat genius!!! this takes me back to downtown swinga.......

  • I'm sooo glad they still keep high level

  • shit go hard gzzzzz

  • I feel u gogetter, I tried to cop that last night at Target myself and couldn't find it either. I did get that Cuban Linx 2. FIRE!

  • I went to cop this ill album today from Best buy, target, local record store Rainbow Records, nobody had this album disappointing, I'm guessin distributers didn't ship out alot, Me and alot of other hiphop heads want this album but cannot get it, XXL mag says they only sold 2,100 copies I would guess so because aint none in the stores.

  • My goodness....Preem did it again! Damn!

  • Man, this an Oh so ill track, Preemo one of the greatest hiphop producers of all time, MOP always bring it, I'm definitely gonna cop this album

  • could anyone write me down the lyrics of chorus only? i couldn't catch a few words

    thanks in advance

keep it thoro, raw shit, big up Premo , and MOP duo for life.

  • They ask me what i wanna be when I grow up/

    I wanna be just what I see.....hustler and baller/

Grindin', taking trips OT, tryna blow up/

but for now I'm gonna hit the streets til it's sewn up/

    then I'm gone.

  • The G.O.A.T. reaffirms his status YET AGAIN.

  • Sampled from Diana Ross - "Friend to Friend"

  • amazing song...

  • this shit is fuckin dope. big up 2 ma m.o.p. niggaz.

  • Premier didn't produce this. Perhaps a Dilla beat, but not preem.

  • actually the sample is dilla but the beat was done as a tribute from dj premier. fame loved it so much preem decided to let m.o.p lace it.

  • He did, look at the album credits.

  • preem does it again!!!!!!!!!

  • this is serious

  • Man ive been waiting for some REAL HIP HOP ISHHH FOR SO LONG I WAS ABOUT TO LOOSE MY MIND THANKYOU DJ PREMIER & M.O.P.

  • nope, the label released a wrong tracklist, believe me it's what i wanna b, ive uploaded stop pushin too tho

  • how u gonna say its not "what i wanna be" when thats what they say in the chorus. i dont hear em sayin "stop pushin. pay attention.

  • lovin this Premo track. Signature drum pattern with Danz/Fame vocals over a soulful sample is vintage Mash Out. Lookin forward to this album.

  • soulful

  • That's why Premo is the greatest...always finds a way to suprise!

  • Love it

  • Not a typical Preem beat, but for some reason I could still tell its him. It's like the way he samples is so unique you can still tell it's him.

  • not the typical preemo beat

    but love it

  • Preem seems to like experiments, cause this one is not made from his pattern, but who cares? Just listen, it still makes your head go bang! Luv Preem
