this way, you can draw just the way you want, and alter things like proportions. or skinny-ness. you can make your own style. Plus doing this will make it ten times easier to teach people how to draw.

well I've been drawing for a year, and I'm not pro. I'm getting closer, but no.

I sucked at anatomy. I couldn't find a tutorial for everything. But now I'm getting way better at it. I'm starting to be able to draw my own poses. It's important that people find their own way for anatomy. sure looking at these tutorials is helpful to get a feel of what a body looks like, but what's working for me is looking at poses, and starting from stick figure to human.

If anyone cares to know, his pencil is a Pentel GraphGear 500 in 0.5 mm lead.

The Japanese are such good people, and bad things always happen to good people...

I guess the reason is to test if the other good people will help them. I plan on donating some money myself very soon, and I suggest everyone else does too!

I'm having issues as well, though I've thought of a solution it's become very taxing.

Since I have such difficulties with proportion, I've decided to use the 3d art program blender to help me understand perspective and reaction. Problem is now I have to learn how to use it before I can use it to make my art. >.< And even then I need an art reference to even be able to make the form unless I use my own and thus I'm back to square 1 in my problem.

They need to make an easier way to learn.

@krazybob123 I just had an art class today and they gave a very helpfull tip when working with human forms, if you got the right size head you want most often the body is 7 times that size to make it proportional correct. Although it might not be the best tip for manga maybe it can help you get there ;)

Learn proper grammar, then MAYBE you can judge. Once you find out this is manga/ anime, not a portrait.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that these tutorials are for drawing manga/anime, not actual people. You could spend hundreds of hours creating a character, but you only need the basic shape and then a more detail to it, but it won't work if you try to make it look like a real person like small hair on the arms and stuff. That's not the point of it. That's why you have Freehand Drawing classes and stuff.
