Watson was originally from Gateshead and played for the Tower Company from the 40s-60s, and was the organist of the Palace ballroom in Blackpool (which was next door to the Tower) from 1952-1962.
Would have loved to have been around in those days...Watson Holmes, Horace Finch, Reg Dixon and others too all on the go at the same time!
