  • First off, we're not 'caught up" in it - we go by choice. The drugs are provided for those that are supposed to be responsible enough to take them. This is why "All responsible ages" is not something you want to see on a flyer. Drugs are not the only reason to go, we need to show people that.

Shits hittin' the fan in CA too, with Fiona Ma's war on raves - know you're not alone. Keep it bumpin Minnesota - when I get back there I wanna get dumb!

  • Ehh they come and go, atleast the guy who did Noc festival in 09 put in a good word for us haha

  • FUCK YOU UNDERCOVER god damn they are the gayest people known to man, fuck them and their fun busting, just cuz they have no fucking life they have to blow fun for everybody.

  • And back then kids- in Minneapolis, E, "molly", and/or "sass" was not always that expensive. There was a time when it was 8-10 dollars and eventually it was going for 20-35 dollars each. We didn't refer to MDA and MDMA as Molly and Sass back then- we refferred to it as MDA and MDMA- and pills were pills.

  • LoL

I'm from MN, Anoka and rolls are still going for 8$ a pop these kids are just dumb.

    And

wtf i never see any raves like this in the area

    where can i find 1

  • The point is we all take responsibility in raising our own kids in hopes that they will make good choices. We also can't deny that just as we may have partaken in the "extra-curricular" activities at these parties, we were bound to do it REGARDLESS, just as our children may do so as well! Way to go WCCO for only focusing on the negative and not even bothering to talk about the amazing talent of the music we all enjoyed at those parties.

  • Call me crazy but I am a mother of an 8 year old son who has a 4.0 in school and a love for music just like we all did back in those days. I would rather know my son (as a teenager and young adult) is at a rave party than driving around and drinking or in somebody's basement! I tlod my dad where I was going- I think he was just happy to know where I was, instead of me sneaking out! Those were some of the best and most memorable experiences of my life.

  • Guess what? people at rock concerts and rap shows use drugs too not just at raves.

  • fucking hilarious.

  • this is pissing me off. ever since i got into trance, and eurodance, youre tellin me that, becouse of my damn city's news crew, i can't go to a techno/dance party? ive been checking the web for an hour, scouring to find a rave club in Minneapolis, but found only this! fuck. ravers are hot, the misic is amazing, but due to a few drugs, its practically illeagl?? Somone from MN help me please! and for gods sake im 19, not 12. stupid kids. Sorry. I'm just pissed off.

  • ravelinks.

    trust me

    im from minnesota

  • ha ha me and my friends are in this too lol good old MN rave scene was cool back in the day but not no more

  • haha, me and my buddys are in this. dont hate on the raves hate on the drugs

  • I agree with some of the guys here, Raves are about the music. Just don't get toooooo loud. And don't make it too long. Don't provide alcohol, too. However, most of the people who go here do so just for the cheap drugs. Smokes. Etc. Just bad.

  • A note at the end of the video, too.

  • does anyone have any of the other parts of this report they could post?

  • "This is NO barmitsvah" hahaha

but seriously, I remember being at those parties and cafe fusion and all that shit was awesome. It's depressing that crap like this ruined what was once such an awesome scene here in mpls but I think that it's gotten stronger recently and will never go away. MPLS RAVERS UNITE!!! haha yeaaaaah!

  • you can buy drugs ANYWHERE... in mpls, our scene is not ONLY about drugs. give it a rest and and think about, at least we are bringing peace to this city -- have you ever seen a fight at a rave??? remember the positive aspects. mpls has so many talented artists in every aspect-- music, dancing, media, video, lighting, etc etc... there are negatives in every culture, but it is not of overwhelming concern here. give us some credit for what the majority of us are doing right.

  • drugs are dealt everywhere. Thank you channel 4 for destroying a scene.

  • Hey, I remember that last party. Remember Bob Sinclar's "Feel For You". I was sober and had a blast.

  • *cough*selltopeopleyouknow*cough* Sorry. But if ppl are gonna be doing that, be smart about it.

  • There goes the media spinning it's web of one sidedness and fear into our hearts! The music gives me a greater high than candy will..and people do need to learn to shut their mouths

  • i have this video, im from the twin cities and was at those same partys and actually am in the first video @ the medina ballroom...i loved those ol'school dayz. peace

  • This is the same shit that killed DC's scene.

  • !!!FUCK THE MEDIA!!!

Raves are really about the music, anyone who has ever been to one would know this.

  • yay for the media destroying what little we have left.

  • $35 a roll?>!?!??!?

  • Yeah no shit. He was giving him a "deal" at 25?????

  • hahah yea i wouldnt even pay that for molly

  • Oh dear lord... People need to learn how to keep their mouths shut and websites need to learn how to not post venues. These parties ARE NOT all about the drugs. OMG! Ppl just don't get it. I can enjoy a party sober anytime.

  • !@$#$^%&^()^*#
