Both the xbox and ps3 have their pro's and con's. Sometimes games are better on one system than another. For instance Red dead Redemption on the ps3 runs a little smoother, and has a little more detail, but the settings make the game dark default. Xbox has great online, but you can easily get used to online ps3. Both systems are identical, except one can play blue ray movies
