@8MasterX Yep! Derivative works are perfectly fine, legally speaking, unless the publisher has explicitly stated that they're against them. Usually, they're fine with it, as long as you're not trying to make any money off of them. Sometimes, you'll be able to get a license and make money, if you're really good at what you're making; I know this guy that makes officially endorsed Mii figurines and chocolates, for instance.

You could always contact Nintendo, too; they're pretty friendly. xD

I was attempting to arrange this so we can play it for graduation but then I don't know if it can get approved. can you rearrange the chords in the beginning in the measures before the graduation march part? the bass chords don't sound right to me.

Did you transpose this? Because if you did, that is amazing. Mad props man. How long did this take you to arrange and transpose?

@Happytaco1236 I'm pretty sure I wrote this in the original piece's key, but I did have to transpose some parts an octave or two up or down. The whole project took me about a year to finish, but I did take several months off during that time. All in all, I spent about three months actively working on it.

To be really specific, I originally wrote part of the score in MakeMusic Finale 2005. I then upgraded to 2009 and finished it in that.

The instrument sounds come from the Garritan Personal Orchestra, which works as a plug-in to Finale 2006 and up.
