I have a question. To be in the virtual choir, do you just record this, and then put in online, and then wait to be selected? Or is it only certain people who can audition? I'd love to know more.
@OMGSTREETFIGHT Haha funny that you say that, I was expecting to get a LOT more responses like that, so it's interesting that you're the first one who's commented on it. It's actually very real. What you're seeing is actually me MOUTHING the low c# and then I went BACK and recorded that note through a higher quality mic so it sounded better than it did on the crappu iSight mic. Good observation though!
@sicktrix540 - Why not re-record the whole take with the better mic then? Especially for something as prestige as the EWVC. It makes the take look versed and unprepared.
I'm sure the note is sung by you, and that your fully aware of why people question the noise.
@OMGSTREETFIGHT No use in re-recording now, its already been put together. :) And I was featured on his blog! Can't get much more exciting than that, so why re-record! And its only that 7 seconds that looks unprepared, out of a 4:32 take. I'm sure no one really minds that much.
Nice job. Im trying to get mine recorded right now, but I still need some practice. I am having trouble with the Luxes at the beginning and the puras at measure 17. That is right where my break is. I think its the B that is my break. Any help would be nice. :)
Best advice I can offer you on range extenstion? Siren, siren, siren. :) And with that, float your high notes. Float them to your nose and just send the sound to your nose and eyes. BUT. still keep your throat open to get that sound as if you weren't sending it to your nose. ;)
