Epiphone SG G310 / Boss OS-2 Demo 2

anyone know what the main difference is between this and the sg special?

310 has an all-Alder body, Special has a Alder/Maple hybrid.

The special only has 1 set of volume/tone knobs, while the 310 has two.

And of course, the 310 has a full size pickguard while the special has no pickguard.

i think they have similar sound though, the sustain on the sg special seems to match that if the 310. is it because they have the same pickups?

talking cosmetics...id go with white since it just has dot inlays. i think that just looks alot cooler

Red is too bright so definately not that.

Whites more classic rock, like led zepplin

but blacks a little more metal.

Really its just what you prefer, they all sound the same, its just purely cosmetic.

GET SG CHERRY! its black on the plate cover thing and red on the rest. its nice.

it's a bit of a tough one,they're all excactly the same apart from different colours.just get anyone of them

I'm getting the vintage white finish. I thought it looked the nicest, since the cherry had a bit too much brightness to it (Where's the woodgrain?) and my friend already has one in black (we have a few jam sessions from time to time).

heres my reply... dont buy one... they are shit. buy a g4000 they are better and well worth the small amount of extra cash... the g310 had terrible tuners and horrible pickups.... i got a white one a year ago and ended up giving it away i hated it so much. the guy i gave it to put 200 dollars worth of work into it and still couldnt get it to sound as nice as a g400

dude that might harm ur sound card and also if u do that u need to use an amp modeleing software so u ahve an amp because if u heard all taht buzzing its cause u didnt have an amp but seirous go spend 100 dollars on an audio interface its cheaper than a soundcard
