in the old days the Sami people in lapland sended messengers between camps. Then the snow blocked the door he had to get in from the roof. He often had presents and greetings from other camps, and his sledge was pulled by raindeers. And some believe Santa lives in Lapland, not greenland or the north pole

Just to say that I think of Tiw or Tyr as our warrior god or king, Oswulf. I think Woden is as E H describes. Just my view.

How can you know our Saxon ancestors did not see Woden as a warrior king? The fact that he was the reputed ancestor of so many royal dynasties suggests that he was. What is your evidence to the contrary?
