It seems strange that no company ever issues Kwh figures. Is this because it's a closely guarded secret or is it not working as planned. I have watched a number of videos of this device and it does not appear to be resonant with the waves. Considering it's mass and added mass I imagine adjusting it's natural frequency could be quite difficult. Come on all you wave energy companies, publish some figures!
@identernet Thats my arguement.....without figures the project no matter what it is , is meaningless. Also none of these designs seem to take into account of wave frequency over scale. Most of the designs I've seen on YT, are a waste of space.
@juzzlookin I can only assume that it doesn't work as well as they make out. Perhaps the people of Scotland would like to know as they are funding it!!!
The anchorage of the unit to the sea floor...is just gravity due to the weight of the unit ...or it was bolted so that it cannot move...???? ...What is the output in KW ? ...At this location, how many hours per day you get this wave ? ...or better, how many kw-hr are produced per day...or per year basis ? ....Will it be ok to say that the numbers of hrs for the ocean waves are similar as of the wind ? Thanks
