You have never bothered to study pre-Islamic middle-eastern history by the sounds of it. Christianity was actually founded in Judea/Palestine, and before the Romans removed ALL the Jews, the former province of Judea was Jewish. Christianity slowly spread, surprisingly peacefully without state intervention to become majority religion of the Eastern Roman Empire. It took much longer for the Western half (the countries beyond Greece and towards Britain, France etc) to adopt it though.

Muslims can't kill children, women, people who aren't armed... Muslims can only kill in times of war, but that isn't the same as murder.

When the Muslims invaded those provinces, they were Christian and FULL citizens of the Eastern Roman Empire who spoke Greek, Arabic, Persian, and Aramaic. Even an Arab became Roman Emperor, look up Phillip the Arab.

Wrong, they were Greek speaking which is not the same thing, there still lots of Arabs in the Levant and Nabatea. With Copts in Egypt, Armenians in Armenia and the Eastern provinces of Asia Minor. With Assyrians and other minorities making the remainder. The only places where Greeks were the majority were in Western Anatolia, Cyprus and mainland Greece itself. (all Christian btw)

You have never bothered to study pre-Islamic middle-eastern history by the sounds of it. Christianity was actually founded in Judea/Palestine, and before the Romans removed ALL the Jews, the former province of Judea was Jewish. Christianity slowly spread, surprisingly peacefully without state intervention to become majority religion of the Eastern Roman Empire. It took much longer for the Western half (the countries beyond Greece and towards Britain, France etc) to adopt it though.

Read my post again, you don't seem familiar with pre-Islamic middle-eastern history, at the time of the Islamic invasion, ALL peoples within the Roman Empire had full citizenship including the many Arabs who populated the Levant and Nabatea (these Arabs AT THE TIME WERE Christian). Even one of the Roman Emperors was an Arab, "Philip the Arab". I'm not saying the lands TODAY should become Christian.

Glorification of the past is not a way to fix current problems and create a good future. The Muslim empire was created by widespread conquering and misery. That is how all empires are created. By modern moral standards, empire is inherently evil. The key to Muslim future prosperity is the use of oil money to establish modern industrial societies. That requires a populous that thinks in a scientific and rational way. I believe that requires secularism and Islamic reform.
