It keeps the Silent Hill atmosphere and horror, even amplifying it with the exclusion of combat. The narrative is superb, the psychological profiling is astounding, and the soundtrack is glorious. It's as much of a Silent Hill game as any developed by Team Silent.

I don't think this song is refering to PH, Valtiel, and Samael for a few reasons. Actually I think the song easily points out why on it's own...you merely have to pay attention to the lyrics. Silent Hill 1/Silent Hill 2/ Silent Hill 3 seems more reasonable an assumption. "I spin the carosal, The laughter recedes away." "A human caught in monochrome dreams, I scream to wake up." "I hold truth like a torch, shadows flicker before me."

I mean in the first verse is implied rape...the second verse is faceless in the crowd, involvement in dreams...the last part is "Holding the torch of truth" being called the sentinel...yeah a God-like entity. Theres two different soundtracks available. The one that comes with the game doesn't have this song (to my knowledge). The original soundtrack, that you can buy in stores and online, has this bonus song though.

Before the first voice you can hear pyramid head dragging his great knife. Before the second voice you can hear Valtiel turning his valve. The second voice says that only the dead can see him (you see him when heather is dead). The third voice says that he "holds truth like a torch," and since he is the god worshiped in the town, he is the ultimate truth of why silent hill is the way it is. The third voice also says he is "a master" which would define him as Samuel.
