  • When you switch between nmh and lipos do you need to reprogram the esc everytime?

  • @HorizonRCdotCom my boat seems to work the same programmed to lipo batteries while using nmh. I dont see why I need to program it back...

  • @IntoxicatedRebel Some NiMH batteries will drop down below the cutoff voltage prematurely is all.

  • what would be a good lipo battery for the fastech?

  • @barto249 I've used the Dynamite 25C packs in my Formula FASTech for the most part and they work quite well. I did use some Orion 45C Molecular packs a few times and it was scary-fast, almost uncontrollable.

  • Do U Need It For The SHockwave 26 Brushless? (Pro Boat) By The Way U Did A review on it if u dont know which one im talking about

  • i have a proboat 26 cat and i bought the esc programming card because someone told me with my new prop i should run low cuttoff. but i don't know where i should have the rest of the tabs? i have nimh batterys and everything is still stock but i'm running into a problem when i give the boat all she got it stops and everything shuts down?

  • I have the formula fastech brushless with lipo's, when programming the esc do i select timing low/inrunner motor or timing high/outrunner motor. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!! THANKS

  • @therealjakedanger Either will work in his application. More torque w/ low timing.more speed w/ Hi timing.

  • How do I know if I have an inrunner or outrunner Motor and what's the difference?

  • How much does a programming usually cost?

  • They are $19.99, PRB3311 is the Part Number

  • i dont get the beep part

  • If you listen to the video, while the ESC is plugged into the Programming Card and you plug the batteries in you'll hear a single beep. Once it beeps it's programmed.

  • i just got the formula fastech programing card and i am wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between a low and high cut off. i am thinking that low means the motor will cut off when the battery is discharged if im wrong please correct me.

  • Nope, you're spot on. Nothing to correct :) The High cutoff refers to having it cutoff when the voltage is higher, like when you use a LiPo. This will help prevent you from over-discharging and possible damaging your pack.

  • Set once and you're done. However when you switch from LiPo to NiMH you'll need to do it each time for obvious reasons.

  • Do you only have to set the esc once or do you have to redu it every time.
