Have you tried the wet and wild creme liner?

It's very creamy and stays put for hours for only around 4 bucks.

try different brush( harder kind) for the gel eyeliner! yours is too soft for gel, it is meant for liquid!

don't have mac fluidline but I was a little disappointed in the smashbox, it just faded more than I expected. Wearing for an eight hour wrk day.

Very helpful comparison of SB and MAC. SB has some really nice colors but I find it smudges too easily. I'm def going to buy that bent eyeliner brush - looks awesome :)

I prefer the E lf eyeliner it has a very fine brush it is great.
