And they have pretty good quality.. plus i never saw the scene of G vs Meteor uploaded as a single stand-alone clip.

Only ten feet shorter than the original 1950's - 1970's Godzilla, and he wasn't even standing up right. Over all, he is bigger than the original Jap Godzilla. Then when the 80's Godzilla came out, he shrank in comparison. {:-D I have a vid of the scales of the 5 Godzillas.
Godzilla 1998 was an awesome monster movie and Zilla looked way cooler than the original Godzilla, in my opinion. My ONLY complaint, and it's a big one, was the name of the film. That was NOT Godzilla. Not even a little bit. It's like if they made another Friday The 13th remake, gave Jason a clown mask to wear and sent him to Japan.
@TheDarkofTommy Actually, even if Roland Emmerich named the movie "Godzilla" they never say that it is. All the characters in the movie call the creature Godzilla just because some japanese dude who almost died on a boat in the beginning of the movie thought it was Godzilla. So really the creature in the pictures above is a mutated leguana, and even though the name of the movie is "Godzilla", no one ever says that it is the original monster from Japan.

The fundamental flaw in the movie is that it treats Godzilla as just an over-sized iguana. That would have been great, but that's not Godzilla. Yes, it's a great monster flick, just not the monster that was made as an allegory of nuclear power and in respect to the nuclear bombings and it's victims.

Yeah. The American Godzilla actually looks like a lizard, cold-blooded reptile. The Japanese Godzilla due to the fact that they have nothing in the means of technology like we do today. The American Godzilla looks awesome but its not quite as strong as the Japanese Godzilla.

THe whole CGI vs man suit arguemnt is a stupid one because the technology is not up to date to film making yet. it cost 10 million to make a Japanese Godzilla film. Hollywoods version used 130 million.

@Sarva07 I don't know about that statement that it's so commercial. Godzilla was marketed heavily after King Kong vs Godzilla. Even though Godzilla fought Anguiras in Godzilla Raids Again (or Gigantis the Fire Monster, in which American version was called), it was the Kong fight that heighten Godzilla's staying power. I would say its been commercial since it's second movie like Son of Kong or Mighty Joe Young.

It's good stuff in it's own right, mind you, but just because Godzilla came along later does not mean it has less of a profound message implicit (I'm talking the 1954 Gojira and the nuclear war theme). Godzilla was inspired by real life horrors- King Kong, if anything, was the manufactured, commercial one. Then again, Kong could stand as an allegory for the slave trade. One thing is for sure...modern Godzilla would kick the crap out of any version of Kong.

Actually I think the American Godzilla (Zilla called), is in many ways a better design. I believe that in many ways is more correct, if I could have a big animal, biologically more correct, more like a reptile.
For my 'Zilla is much more real and very believable film, obviously corrupted by North American interests.

Which personally i dont support reboots but Godzilla deserve's 1, and Legendary Pictures has made some fantastic movies. So we will get a Classic Godzilla movie soon and toho will bring there monster back in 2014.

That is exactly what's wrong with this film: it makes the audience feel bad for Godzilla! What the fuckity fuck! Godzilla is more than some poor animal and this movie completely ignores it's origins. Tomoyuki Tanaka died when the film was still in production. It's tragic, but hopefully he didn't get to see what an abomination his creation was turned into. The movie should have been marketed as just an American monster movie, it would have done fine. This is NOT a Godzilla movie.
That's because America stole the Godzilla idea and used computers to create him, while Japan had Godzilla way back in the 50's idiot. So obvious the 90's version is gonna have more better technology after 40 years.

First of all get your facts straight. Japan director made their movie in the 50s and America made theirs in the 90s. So there is a 40 year technology advance difference. I don't think they are gonna revive a movie from many decade ago.
Zilla is mostly hated and if Godzilla's movies sucked balls he wouldn't have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. He has that star for a reason. As being the most liked movie monster of all time.

Zilla is so horrible that he shouldn't have even be created! There's a difference between keeping up with the times and changings things drastically. What pissed off Godzilla fans was the fact how extreme the changes were. We weren't expecting a guy in a rubber suit. We knew it was going to be seeing CGI. If you seen the original Godzilla design made from Stan Winston's Studio for the 94' American Godzilla film, your jaw would drop.

Yeah. The American Godzilla actually looks like a lizard, cold-blooded reptile. The Japanese Godzilla due to the fact that they have nothing in the means of technology like we do today. The American Godzilla looks awesome but its not quite as strong as the Japanese Godzilla.

THe whole CGI vs man suit arguemnt is a stupid one because the technology is not up to date to film making yet. it cost 10 million to make a Japanese Godzilla film. Hollywoods version used 130 million.

@Sarva07 I don't know about that statement that it's so commercial. Godzilla was marketed heavily after King Kong vs Godzilla. Even though Godzilla fought Anguiras in Godzilla Raids Again (or Gigantis the Fire Monster, in which American version was called), it was the Kong fight that heighten Godzilla's staying power. I would say its been commercial since it's second movie like Son of Kong or Mighty Joe Young.

It's good stuff in it's own right, mind you, but just because Godzilla came along later does not mean it has less of a profound message implicit (I'm talking the 1954 Gojira and the nuclear war theme). Godzilla was inspired by real life horrors- King Kong, if anything, was the manufactured, commercial one. Then again, Kong could stand as an allegory for the slave trade. One thing is for sure...modern Godzilla would kick the crap out of any version of Kong.

Actually I think the American Godzilla (Zilla called), is in many ways a better design. I believe that in many ways is more correct, if I could have a big animal, biologically more correct, more like a reptile.
For my 'Zilla is much more real and very believable film, obviously corrupted by North American interests.
But thanks to this legendary super Godzilla monster!

That is exactly what's wrong with this film: it makes the audience feel bad for Godzilla! What the fuckity fuck! Godzilla is more than some poor animal and this movie completely ignores it's origins. Tomoyuki Tanaka died when the film was still in production. It's tragic, but hopefully he didn't get to see what an abomination his creation was turned into. The movie should have been marketed as just an American monster movie, it would have done fine. This is NOT a Godzilla movie.

First of all get your facts straight. Japan director made their movie in the 50s and America made theirs in the 90s. So there is a 40 year technology advance difference. I don't think they are gonna revive a movie from many decade ago.

Many people can see the difference between Godzilla and Zilla because they look completely different. You'd have to be a moron not to see that. Godzilla is also many times more powerful than Zilla.

There's a difference between keeping up with the times and changings things drastically. What pissed off Godzilla fans was the fact how extreme the changes were. We weren't expecting a guy in a rubber suit. We knew it was going to be seeing CGI. If you seen the original Godzilla design made from Stan Winston's Studio for the 94' American Godzilla film, your jaw would drop.
