Yeah ok Stealth is a bit better, but this is by far the best ride at Alton Towers. It's faster than it looks!

@MegaMagic555 I used to think this, but I think RITA is better these days. It's just got more to it. By comparison Stealth is one dimensional and has no airtime. RITA is packed with airtime.

@Dangerous2099 NO IT DOESNT! This is 0-62mph (100kmph) in 2.5 seconds and Stealth is 0-80mph (128kmph) in 1.8 seconds! Stealth does have airtime if you sit at the the front; you even have airtime going over the 205ft tower which is incredible!

@SamuelH105 YES IT DOES. Rita hits top speed after ONE SECOND. The park advertises it as 2.5 seconds but that is just the length of time it takes the train to reach the end of the runway. I know this because I have spoken with one of the ride operatives about it when I used to believe Stealth had faster acceleration. The park stats are misleading. Rita hits 60mph at 1.05 seconds.

@Dangerous2099 Well maybe it might but it is no way 1.05 seconds. It will be one of the fastest accelerations in the world if it did and one of the most powerful, the stealth launch is far more powerful then this. Dont get me wrong, this rollercoaster is awesome :D

It's not quite the same, the end is very slightly different. But it's pretty much the same, heide park is a nice park though, Colossos is sweeeet! Intamin Pre-fabs FTW!

This ride dosen't fit with the "Ug Land" theming! Although I've heard word that this ride with get painted green because of the new ride Th13teen which also changes the section of the park into a gothic theming!

I went on Rita 2day, the launch was amazing but the rest was a little disappointing.

i hava a lipstic camera wich is securely attached to my had with glove which i designed this is too small for the ride-operators to see and because it is securly attached it cannot be dropped on any part of the ride.

and to prove it this camera has been on over 150 roller coaster and 230 diffrent flat rides

Welll, i went on this 4 times yesterday, the launch is absoloutely incredible, it was snowing, and it broke down just as we had the harnisses strapped on and locked in, the breaks failed, they restarted the ride, and ensured us that we would be okay, we set off, and because of the wet surface of the track, it was incredibly speedy, we enjoyed the ride and it was a great memory, i am going back this wensday with my friends, cant wait! Best ride ever!!!! Love it!!!

Cool POV. I cant remember that much of the ride when i went on this ages ago, and you know that i get scared of coasters. What is the launch like on Rita. Does it feel like the Stealth 1.1 launch (which was pretty horrible) or just very very quick. Will i like it when i go on it again this year? (Its Jordz by the way.)
