The irony here is women demand equal rights but then turn around and deny equal rights to men.
Equal reproductive, parental, custody, property, rights. And equal protection under the law. Women claim they are equal to men but then say "women have special needs" and therefore should get special protections. But men don't have special needs right?
Feminism is hate. It's just a way for women to demand things they never earned.
I am a male who believes in feminism. I believe in equality and that woman need more justice in the world. I also think that sexism is still rampart, even in western culture. For that I do believe that my ethics are superior to the average male, also because I support animal rights.
However, I don't ask for a reward or metal. I don't think I deserve special treatment or recognition.
The only thing I do ask for is not to be look at as an average pig.
Yes, every man should be a feminist. That is indeed how it should be. The problem is, many men AREN'T feminists. Many men - and from what I see it seems like they're a majority - WANT women to be second class citizens. And that means that those of us who DON'T think that way: those of us who view women as equals and want them to be seen as equals, need to separate ourselves from the pricks who don't.
We're not 'giving' anyone anything. We're merely saying that women are equal.
@AntifaSwedenx Hmmm. So how do you explain that my penis is 6.5 inches long and that I've been happily married for 21 years with a happy healthy daughter?
And what sort of feminist would claim that men are all pigs? That doesn't sound like feminism to me. It sounds like misandrism. There's a big difference.
I am a male who believes feminism, and I am also white and I come from an upper middle class white family. The reason why I believe in feminism is because of how I think that woman deserve more justice around the world and that there is still sexism. I do not have any agenda of using these beliefs to "find a nerdy chick to bang". Anyone who knows me in real life would know that I am not the kind of person who uses progressive believes for my benefit.
My believes are genuine, just like my beliefs for animal rights and social tolerance. I believe in a better world, and a world with less suffering.
I do believe that a lot of males are pigs, and I do believe that my ethics are superior to them. However, I do NOT think that I am more entitled than them. I believe in feminism and other progressive beliefs because these ideas will help the human race.
@freshasflowers hahahaha! totally. " hey girl, I totally believe in your right to be an autonomous being with rights and body integrity...so why don't you hop on on my desk and let me stick my dick in you?"
And males *can* be feminists (I'm seeing some stuff on the related vids about "Can men be feminists???"--like we wanna take their ideological beliefs away from them.)
But you *cannot* be a feminist and tell me what feminism *is*, because as a man you have no idea what it is and is not. You cannot tell me who gets to call themselves a feminist. Your being a "man + feminism" does not give you "superfeminist powers."
In short, you cannot carry your male privilege *into* feminism.
@TehHermgirl Not to be persnickety, but if "a man (has) no idea what (feminism) is and is not" (and I believe you imply can not have), then there can be no male feminists.
@telejimmy57--what I said is more a response to men who have slapped the label "feminist" on themselves, then proceeded to rant about how "you're a feminist if you do this, and say that," but if you have opinions they don't like, then you're really *not* a feminist, you're just a man-hater. Men can have a measure of knowledge about it, but they don't know enough about the experience of being a woman to judge who is and is not a feminist.
@shEvoDEevolution - Then stop crying about it and take the equal rights you deserve. Nobody is giving men anything more than "as it should be" are they?
@shEvoDEevolution Absolutely. Women are free, and they can have all the "equality" they desire. I, for one, would never dream of lifting a finger to stop this.
Yes, they are on their own, with all of the nuance implicit to that phrase.
Sounds like female entitlement. You "deserve" because why? What did you do to deserve them? You were born right? Yet look at the millions of men who have to work hard and achieve something just to be afforded basic respect and dignity? And look how easily women can strip away that respect or exploit men by shaming them and claiming they aren't "real men".
Feminism isn't about equality. It's about getting things you've never earned under the guise of equality.

If he is doing everything expected then why is she so angry at him?
The answer is that women are allowed to shame men to get what they want. Males are resources to be exploited and or discarded.
Her anger then is not that he is a bad husband but that he won't allow her to exploit him further than he wants.
Ask yourself what obligations women have towards men? I can of none.
Now ask yourself which of those obligations are enforced by law? None.
If women aren't obligated why should me be
