  • park lake was flooded near where i live. they had the lake off limits and power was out for two days.

  • Thanks for the update. I'm heading to Rockaway next week and was wondering how they fared.

  • WOW, Nice footage of Irene's power used to live in the area, now in central jersey...

  • I'm in NC and I wanted to see how bad it's been north of me. I really feel for all of you up there. take care ^_^

  • Update, Rockaway Township is back to normal minus a few downed trees still laying across power lines in the area. My in laws live in Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany they got hit bad. They were able to return today to check the damage and it was pretty bad. It's a funky split but their basement, family/utility floor, and kitchen/living (1st floor) was destroyed. My Dad in Pequannock just returned home to the same situation. This storm really messed up a lot of this state. We were very lucky..

  • you did a good job.. thank you for not being annoying like most of the other videos I watched... LOL

  • @onewish1nj71 Thanks appreciate it.

  • @GRIZZLYRIDERS2010 It is hard to believe that you ride in a area that has no water but with in the next day it got like 20 foot or more water ever where but I believe you because there some area's that I ride at that floods out like that but it at the bottom of the mountain here. Nice vid!

  • I said, nice voice! lol It wasn't sarcastic lol You sounded great! I played the vid for my family who live in NJ, we loved it --especially the part with the old person dragging the loaded sinker pants lol I don't live in Jersey at the moment and seeing all the water is incredible. Hope the tree that fell on the road near your house didn't cause you more problems...stay safe and warm!

  • @AbottNCostello lol, okay gotcha. I should have started screaming...OMGGGGGOOOODDDDD lol.

  • Thanks so much for putting this vid out. I am amazed at the water everywhere....

I don't live in Jersey anymore, but my family is there still in Warren county. My mom works at the mall in Rockaway and I know that whole area pretty well. Was good to see what is happening. Again, thanks and p.s. nice voice!

  • @AbottNCostello What's wrong with my voice lol. That's what a deviated septum and severe sinus sufferer sounds like, pack a smokes a day probably doesn't help much either hahaha

  • Thanks for posting - my family still lives in Rockaway Borough, but I'm in Massachusetts now.

  • Thanks. Those of us from Rockaway (and Rockaway Township) who now live elsewhere really benefitted from this video.

  • @skedeebs No problem. Glad you guys liked it....well almost all of you their is 1 dislike lol

  • OMG the chick in the hip boots is hysterical,

,I doubled over clutching my sides expecting to view horror and devistation.that bit of comic relief was priceless!!! I grew up in Rockaway Twp never saw flooding. 1955-1968

  • @genesclean1 LOL, yeah she was something. Didn't know what she was doing till I saw she was trying to put her waders on lol.

  • Great video !!

  • Thanks for the update!!!

  • I've seen some vids of Denville...absolutely terrible.

  • @saggioculo Denville is real bad. We were pretty lucky here compared to most places like lincoln park, pequannock and wayne.

  • Nice vid, hope you have not so much damage there.

But i would parking my car in the garage and ride around with the ATV :) because a flood (we never had one here) is the only "way" here to drive legal in water :(

  • im in nj to and the water went over bridges and they ha smaall motor boats evacuating a big apartment complex that was flooded with 5ft of ater hope every one made it threw irene safe

  • I grew up in Rockaway Boro. I only remember seeing flooding like this once in many years in that town. Thanks!

  • Great video, feels like I went out around town without leaving this house! Got enough of a mess here in Hibernia!

  • @amygiesler Yep, the whole area here is a mess.

  • Wow! That's a lot of water! Stay safe.

  • Good to see you guys up north made it through with little damage. I am surprised at how much rain this storm produced in your area.... Thanks for the video.

  • @SCTurkeyHunter1 Saw them mention 7-12 inches before it even hit and knew it would suck

  • Thanks fer the vid Butch ... Hope you & your family are safe & hopefully dry !!.

  • @GunnyE9 Thanks Gunny! We are.

  • wow thats crazy!!

  • you live in nj? your always riding in west virgina right?

  • @theoriginalmodz

Yep I live in North West NJ. Ride in PA and WV as much as I can. The other guy posting videos besides me on this channel (who owns grizzlyriders also) lives in WV

  • @GRIZZLYRIDERS2010 ahh i never would have guessed that, you dont ride north jersey? there some spots, not legal but you never run into problems.

  • @theoriginalmodz Who said I didn't lol. A lot of videos posted that don't have PA or WV in the title LOL.

  • @GRIZZLYRIDERS2010 hahaha, i got it.
