I love being Norman. We have so much greater history than the French and they are jealous of it. We are a mixture of people from Gauls to Vikings but today our culture is in danger as French is becoming the mother language of most and our Norman language falsely named patois is dying. France pays de la liberté, égalité, fraternité... Yeah right. The Norman language should have an official status in it's own country just like it does in independent Normandy (anglo-norman islands).
