there are players that can make the team who aren't in dynamo or shakhtar, but they aren't being called up. most of the players blohkin calls up are way too old and irrelevant like voronin and mychalychenko. he's living 5 years in the past. plus the playing style is completely wrong. but they do have a very weak defence and goaltender pool to pick from. but markevych has so far been the best national team coach they have ever had. we've gone from a team who could beat england 1-0 to this.

Otro ucraniano agarra a Godín y cuando Godín se safa se cae y mientras cae agarra a Godín de nuevo y esto hace caer al otro defensa de Ucrania venía de atras pensando que tenía a Cáceres adelante.
Por último el que agarró a Godín ya en el piso hace que Godín pierda el equilibrio mas otro compañero ucraniano.
Se nota que estos defensas eran muy jóvenes e inexpertos.
Ukraine is just getting worse and worse, they used to be ranked 23rd like half a year ago (And their best rank being 14th in 2007), but now the team got too much amateurs and youngsters that don't have a lot of experience. I just hope that Ukraine will at least get 1 win during the Euro 2012....
@Mnikita7cool ukraine dosen't have a chance at 2012 with blohkin as coach. when markevych was coach they could have played with the world's best teams. they should beg markevych to come back. ukraine also needs to focus on developing defence and keepers the way the developed strikers and midfielders
@serhij25 Ukraine is calling up too many sh1tty players from like Karpaty Lviv and Tavriya, what we need is good experienced players from the top Ukrainian clubs (Sheva, Iarmolenko, Harmash, Gusev, Aliev etc.) and another coach who is either Markevych, or a good coach from another country, otherwise Ukraine will embarrass themselves during the Euro. Plus Ukraine just lost 4-0 against the Czech's, absolutely embarrassing.....
Incredible comeback by Uruguay, despite some bad mistakes by the defense in the 1st half. Uruguay definitely knows how to disappoint a home team. Great effort by Ukraine...ranked 48th (by Fifa) they maintained control most of the 1st half against the #5 team. What a great finish by Hernandez.
