Seems that the people who were adults back in the time frame this was made were much more intelligent. I don't think I was intellectually annoyed by anyone in this (even when I disagreed with them). Today I can't watch 5 minutes of "news" or anything on television without being disgusted by ignorance, lies, or intellectual laziness. Even the dairy farmer he interviewed was more intelligent than most "intellectuals" I see in today's media landscape.

I will never forget the day the last helicopters lifted off from Saigon. Vietnamese standing on the roof top grabbing at the skids of the copter in order to escape the horror headed their way. How do you ever justify the death of our men and women and the people of South Vietnam that we LEFT high and dry...it was/is a disgrace and an insult to our founding fathers! We left those people to be slaughtered AFTER we destroyed their country! What else is there to say? Thank you for posting this.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that has an unwavering record of defending our Constitution and addressing the problems that our country is facing. He had the foresight to predict and warn about the consequences throughout the years and the knowledge to put us back on the right track to restore our Constitutional Republic to be yet again a great nation.The rest do not have a record to stand that mirrors what they now say - Ron Paul does.

@mrearlygold Actually that's not true. Check out Kucinich's record. And then there's Bernie Saunders. He's another real American. Russ Feingold, maybe, not sure, but I think so. Oh, and there's Keith Ellison, my own representative. I watch every vote he makes, through megavote. He's only voted once in a way I thought was bad. In fact check out the Progressive Caucus. Most of those guys are elected through grassroots organizations, and many of them are very good.

Yes, I am thankful for PBS for having the courage to do this documentary. How can we determine how to vote and what to do to protect our freedom if the media keeps us in the dark b/c they don't want to offend the military-industrial-intelligen­ce complex? Zealots are dangerous.

In reality, I am a conservative who idolized Ronald Reagan, but who is well read and has a genuine fear that this secrecy in government will "get" us some day. In my opinion, American intelligfence murdered the Kennedys. Can we stay free and allow this to continue? If so, for how long?  I fear that we are losing our soul (what really made us special as a people), all to control the world. The rest of the world does not want our control.

A sad commentary on our times and the protection of freedom. Right now, only 295 people have cared enough to even visit this, but let Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton do something stupid and post that, and the views go into six figures almost overnight. I guess most people take honesty in government and their freedom for granted. I fear for our freedom. Secret governments are dangerous ... yes, even for us.
