  • the beauty of the universe makes me realize how puny and worthless we are. Its like we cannot create anything this naturally beautiful. to the religious ones out there learn that beauty like this cannot be created it only is.

  • Makes me sad to think we will never visit those galaxies - i know there is life out there, we are not alone. We won't travel our own galaxy in our lifetime, but i am sure future generations will. Lucky them.

  • Beautiful.

  • And you said that the magnificent in this universe is just came from random chance?

  • not a random chance you mug. Go reread basic chemistry and physics books.

  • @probokator Well, yes.

Funny how all the people with degrees in physics(Something that counts, on the subject) tend to agree on a big-bang like beginning

  • Nice pictures! Thanks to share. How beautiful is the universe. These beauty and perfection make me more humble.

Glory to You ô Allah ( The Creator)

"And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it." (The Qur'an, 51:47)

  • im not muslim but i find it so cowardly and pathetic that people have 'thumbs down' you. i imagiine the people who did that would say that you arnt peaceful but bigoted but i guess they have shown that it is THEY who are those things.

  • I don't think it would make any difference what god you use.

If you try to say that a imaginary being created the Universe, then you will always get a thumb down.

  • the universe is a totally unsolved mystery. using mockery that is not backed up with something that will take the place of any and all other thoeries is simply childs play. no one can demonstrate the origin of this universe. you dont have the answer.

  • No you only think it is. because you haven't bothered to find out what we do know about the Universe.

  • 'haven't bothered to find out ' didnt realise you could read lives. go on then genius, tell me what ive done for the better part of my life...

and whilst your on it perhaps you could tell me how our negative and positive came about? perhaps you've made some major scientific discoveries and are yet to release them to the world? perhaps you've figured how the laws of physics came about? and why they are constant? damn i wish id come across you sooner.

  • Your funny, for someone with a limited mental capacity.

I'm not your teacher, read a book.

    Like The Universe for dummies.

But i have NEVER come across any scientific journals or studies, that would explain the origin of the Universe by a god.

Ergo, I'm going to opt for the rational choice.

  • sweetheart, you have never come across a journal that answered questions like those either; they dont exist. please dont presume that your knowledge is superiour to mine. by all means if your going to be so bloody cock sure, give me a link to an article that does provide an answer to those questions. id love to read...

  • There was a Big Bang, witch created the Universe.

It started with a singularity containing energy not matter like some people think.

The Big Bang also created time, so in a sense this was the beginning of everything.

Now what created the singularity and the energy in it.

The ONLY logical answer is another Universe that presided ours.

Yes we don't have proof of this.

But it's a heck of a better explanation than god.

The only thing I'm promoting is that there is no god THAT I'M 100% SURE OF.

  • oh dear. you probably didnt understand the questions if you think that answered them. never mind.

  • Yes, i have problems with bad grammar and spelling.

    My bad.

  • PHOTOSHOPPED!!

  • no they are real

  • It is just amazing to think about how great the universe is. I don't get why religious people think its pretty there for god did it. Doesn't it just feel good to know that this universe is amazing and that we are very very lucking to be where we are.

  • It's not that we think the universe is "pretty and therefore God created it," but rather because in the Word of God it states:

    Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

    For example.

  • ooh, pretty.

  • my primitive monkey brain strains trying to comprehend the sheer mass of these amazing things.

  • mine exploded

  • HA!

  • god could be there or he could not be...

but to just say god created everything is lazy and ignorant if we keep exploring science and religion and questioning our beliefs we might even find out who or what god is or how exactly the universe was created. you have never met god and you have no proof so don't pipe in on somebody pompously like you got it all figured out.

I believe in "god" but it may be E.T. or energy or EVEN the sun! they have all been recorded at one time or another as gods.

  • What God? We don't know how the Big Bang came to be, so how could you possibly attribute it to your 'God'? ...

  • They don't even know if it was the big bang that created the universe..

It's the "big bang theory", nothing more...

  • Wait a second here we know there was a bang we don't know what casued it.

  • @AtheistPride007 Chuck Norris.

  • i know you posted this 6 months ago.. and you have to know this by now.. but..

Gravity is a theory... Germ theory... sigh... thats only two of them.. need I even bother to continue?

  • The Universe is the result one of god's massive farts after 3 nights on booze and Indian curries.

A BIGGER bang you will never see!

  • beautiful, but way too short

  • the universe almost scares me...

    so epic!

whats the middle of those galaxies?

  • Amazing. I don't know why some people aren't amazed by space. I can't look at the sombrero galaxy without stopping my breath in sheer awe.

  • 2good...

  • truly awe inspiring, makes me want to go play mass effect.

  • great!

  • Nice video... a mini expedition through space!

  • Galaxies are truely beautiful.
