yes i believe evil must exist. we were brought to the earth to get a body and to be tested. without evil though there is no good. because if there is no evil then there is nothing in comparison to make something good. good and evil must coexist. but its our job to resist temptation and return back with our Heavenly Father

  • this guy obviously is a mormon expert because he is wearing a jean jacket. look im lds, i make mistakes im not perfect. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of god, i am a christian because mormons are christians.

  • youtube gremlins you are gossipers.

  • @dorisfenella Remember when throwing your stones, that you are frequenting sites that have gossiping. That means you are what you eat. Now see how that applies to you.

  • @TheSoulamore And see what would apply for you.

  • @TheSoulamore The history of the church, the discourses of the prophets etc. All of them are available for any person. If the church had the intention of hiding something to us, those sources weren´t available. So simple as that.

You could have been 50 years as a member of the church and couldn´t have understand the escense af all at the end. A very close example, Shanne McGranne and Sandra Tanner.

  • @dorisfenella of course TheSoulamore doesn't understand, and he blocked me.

I can refute everything that TheSoulamore claims anyways.

  • @TheSkepticChristian He thinks morality is only for us and he is free of it. He could´nt answered me either.

  • @dorisfenella Why would you say what i think? you dont need to placate Mr. Skeptic. What did i not answer? as you stated to your fellow member., since you love the games that go round and round but lead nowhere i am interested in your half english response.

  • wow didnt know GOD wore a hat and had glasses can he check his list of whose going to heaven and see if im on there what a tosser look at what u ppl say examine it to the bible u read. u will be judged with the same judgement u give out oooppps ur doomed like the mormans u too tossers comdem. judgeing another mans sevant is a no no

  • Most of Utah has a terrible school system, the people are cold, the temperature is cold and it's dry, and there's nothing to do there. All there is is skiing, churches, and hiking.

  • If Mormons would get rid of Joseph Smith and the Mormon scripture, then we can call them Christians.

  • @apologiamixer According to the Bible, Mormons qualify as Christian.

  • Utah has good skiing

  • This video was very troubling for me, I'm not a Mormon or a current member or believer of any faith. I have an issue when a group goes to another group to poach members to their particular group.

Mormons may be misguided or not, but I think it's wrong to make them fair game for evangelists to bring over to another group. I think it's disingenuous.

Sort of like when sports teams trade players.

That being said, good luck and go forth with what you think is right for you.

  • Which episode was this from? I been watching the HOTM episodes from the website and I want to watch the full episode.

  • @jackjohnsonsonson glory of God. We can't ignore that. can you be saved by works as a mormon? Don't lie though, I heard some say that. So is it works that saves us then? i dont think so! Ephesians 2:8 by grace are you saved through faith, that not of yourselves, but it is a gift of God..... so you can't buy a gift, here is something too, ephesians 2:9 not by works, lest any man should boast.

  • *all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, sorry

  • I was a member of the the LDS Church for a short time in my teens. (I was already an atheist at the time.) It was like a jail sentence! I drank my way out of BYU and into the U.S. Marine Corps and went to Vietnam. Everything you can say about the crazy beliefs of Mormons is equally true of Christians in general. It is just a typical late-Roman cult that, through an accident of history, was propelled into the modern world as a major cultural institution. Bronze Age, and Iron Age superstition!

  • He doubts people that say they never told a lie. Why?

Because the philosophy of such is that it is impossible to please God. That they can do no good.

    Well, that's just not true.

1 Thes. 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

But don't evangelicals teach that this is automatic for faithful??? Why the word OUGHT then? Hmmm.

  • The Bible says that all men have sinned and falling short of the glory. The verse you reference in layman's terms says, you are living for God, keep doing it, but do it with more faith, fervor, and desire. It never says that "none of you have sinned, so don't." It's impossible for us not to sin, but it's about repentance, and doing what God asks of you to do.

  • @mormonanswerman - Hmmm is my response to your lack of addressing Isaiah 64:6

  • @bdjennings Isnt it the gay mormon parade in utah today lol

  • @makingaccountforyou more like, everyday in utah, ugh....

  • @MetalHeadEmperor I notice that its a lot of active mormons who mostly gay in utah, a lot of them come out of the closet at BYU.. yet the mormons PRETEND to be against gays.. haha

  • Mormons are nice people. their doctrine is just a joke if you study it with an open mind.

  • I meant from my childhood

  • They don't make fun of other religions ha! I can still here that little sing song chant for may childhood.... catholics are going to hell, catholics are going to hell. Those bratty morman kids were mean.

  • Is there an actual Mormon childrens' song called "Catholics Are Going To Hell"?! If so, do you happen to know where I could find the lyrics to such a horrible song?

  • Doliath, don't get your knowledge of the LDS from Youtube. Go to mormonorg or ldsorg. There is no such song. It's part of the movement to keep others from finding the truth. If you would study on your own your eyes will be opened.

  • Well, I know that it wouldn't be in any official hymnbook, but I also know that there are plenty of songs that children sing that can be mean that come from within their own culture. When I was growing up, people would sing "Stinky Chinky" around me to mock my Chinese heritage. It does happen.

  • There may have been a case where children were being childish. We adhere to the teachings of the bible. Ignore the comments of yauguru. He was obviously offended by someone or something and is trying to keep others from learning. How can we possibly be effective worldwide missionaries if we do not accept ALL people as children of God. I went on a mission to Tonga and I love those people with all my heart. Any LDS who acts contrary to this is not living the doctrine of our church.

  • @uhp100 blech, that is such bad advice. The lds religion was started by a conman. If you want the truth about a murder for example I would trust the police over the murderer. You should keep watching Shawn Mcraney. Check out hotm. tv he is smart, tells the truth about the religion and he is entertaining.

  • the word is self righteous

  • Mormons are the most righteous people on earth.

  • But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags...

    Isaiah 64:6

  • wouldnt your time be better spent trying to turn people to Christ vs. turning people away from the LDS religion? Go to one of the mormon services on any given sunday and see if they EVER talk other religions down... or make a whole group of videos on youtube... y'all are pretty rediculous

  • You really don't have anything better to do?

  • So this guy with the hat is a Judge. He can judge if people are saved. This is an expert on Christianity? This show is a complete joke.

  • Too funny. And Shawn should button up a few buttons, don't you think? I'm a Mormon who knows he's not perfect and needs the Gospel, the Holy Ghost, and of course the Saviour's Atonement. The Lord is my Shepherd, and I will follow his true Church to the end. I just hope and pray I will be worthy of any of his blessings. Shawn should not hate so much. What did Shawn do really, to hate so much? It's okay Shawn, no one is perfect. Repent before it's too late brother. Again, no one is perfect.

  • Truly, people and societies can be bad. But that doesn't mean Mormonism is wrong. Utah is Utah, not Mormonism.

  • Interesting. What other books can you recommend?

  • What book are you referring to? It appears my comment was removed. A couple of good books are "The Inevitable Apostacy" and for the BOM naysayers "Book of Mormon Authorship" is a good one. It supplies clear evidence of the authenticity of the BOM.

  • don' t worry about the books, stick with what you love, and your text books, there are mormon haters and anti-mormon haters, but you will be welcome at the U of U, there is an Asian Association of Utah, and probably a student Asian club, if you like to belong to them, but not needed.

  • Ogden, Utah---> High crime, poor school system, bad neighborhoods, LOTS of racism.

    TYPICAL Mormons!!

How sad, more people can't live here!

  • ogden, the den of OG(bible)thats where you send your irs payments.evil?

  • That's interesting! I don't know much about Utah, but those two places are pretty close, right? And they are both highly Mormon? I wonder, then, what the real factors are in the differences in crime rate and racism.

  • You love to point out some so called christian evangelist? not a leader just a person! what about some mormon Leaders? Mormon leader Warren Jeffs?

So please don't point out the twig in someones eye without first looking at the log in yours!

    God Bless!

  • Warren Jeffs is not a Mormon leader. You are ignorant.

  • joseph smith was marrie dto at least 34 women..some underage..JUST LIEK warren jeffs..how ccan you IGNORE the truth.?

  • Warren Jeffs was NOT a Mormon Leader. I'll say it again.

But, no I will not deny that Joseph Smith had many wives. The church's own geneaology site has, I believe, 23 different women listed as sealed to Josph Smith.

  • Well, one could argue that Warren Jeffs is a Mormon, as he is a member of a church within the Latter-day Saint movement (which includes the CoC (RLDS), the LDS (Temple Lot), and the Church of Jesus Christ), which can reasonably claim the title of "Mormon". However, I would not say that Jeffs is LDS, as that adjective is nearly exclusively reserved for members of the church headquartered in Salt Lake City.

  • @IkillChristians It was fine in those days. Everybody did it then. It was the 1800's for crying out loud.

  • @IkillChristians "Joseph smith was marrie dto at least 34 women"

And why he didn´t have another sons with those women?

  • @TheSoulamore Or could be another speculation with a lustful connotation. The oportunity to prove all allegations like this ended due to the criminal mob since they denied him the right to be judged. So if you are totally convinced you can´t do more than blame to the mob!

  • @dorisfenella Of course. Its not speculation though. You just need to use common sense and care about the truth enough to do your research.

  • @TheSoulamore You need to take time to question the sources you have read. Even the history of the church is with full speculations, simple opinions. No prove of what really hapened.

  • @dorisfenella I read documents that come straight from your church and i was raised in the church, so i know more then you would speculate. The church has done alot to hide the original documents. They have changed alot of material in the History of the church, but their are people that have the originals. Now, with that information to arm you, you use common sense and love for Jesus to find the truth. Just one question for you...WHY would Joseph smith marry a woman that was already married?

  • @TheSoulamore They want to be united spiritually. Most of those women were above the 25 years old some more than 50 years when he was about 36. We can speculate many things, but at the end your opportunity to prove all those allegations ended due to the criminal mob. He deserved to be in that court and defend himself. There´s no secrets in the church, the escense is the same, except by the perverts, gossipers, lustful, weak brothers that never were a real convert.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSoulamore Are you sure those are " FACTS"?

    Were you there?

    Blame to the criminal mob.

  • @dorisfenella I dont have to be there to know the character of Joseph Smith. There were many people that were there, that were close to him and those people testified and documented things that happened. Alot of the evidence was from women that spoke in his defense but their own words convicted him. Thats the funny thing about truth. It always comes out. Praise God for that. You could just keep fooling yourself but why do that?!!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSoulamore Let´s turn? No. Since you are trying to avoid my questions.

I asked you first. Obviously you weren´t there. So you have only assumptions based on speculations.

You can´t do more than blame to that mob. BTW you look pervert, lustful and wicked to not say the whole list!

  • @TheSoulamore JS never married a woman who was already married. I know that claim has been made before, but no one had offered proof as yet.

  • @TheSoulamore Easy to say that "Its true though." You don't have any proof.

  • @JediLDS There is proof of all his marraiges. Mostly diaries of the wives. You cant prove that he didnt have polyandrous marriages! He also told all the girls to keep everything on the hush, because it was illegal and Emma didnt agree with it. The overall picture shows that he would definitely do these things because he made polygamy a doctrine. Simple, right?

  • lots of love? try being from another faith and/or another ethnicity and then talk about love...

    you ignorant mormon

  • I'm going to be a student at the U of U this fall, and I'm Chinese. Is Mormon racism a big problem in Utah?

  • Mark my words.

ONE: They might be polite, but they'll never consider you a true friend, you will always be their Chinese friend.

TWO: Talking about friends, you might make one friend if that, mainly you will hang out with other Chinese students or students from other countries who don't give a shit where you are from.

THREE: No matter how much their rhetoric proclaims we are all equal in their eyes you'll always be inferior to them, less pretty, less cool, etc.

    MARK MY WORDS FRIEND!!!

  • BRAVO!! Great post!

  • Nei Hao Ma, Racism to Chinese does not exist in Utah, Chinese are an accepted culture and race, you will be accepted, by LDS, and non-LDS, and the U of U, is a forward thinking, open and accepting, environment, welcome to Utah and to the USA! do not worry about it, when I was younger, there was anti-black sentiment and racism prejudice, and there still is, in Utah...!

  • That what I wanna do for the rest of my life

I wanna witness to the mormons
