mhh, almost in every episode there is something that honestly gross, not just someone pretending to be dead with something supposed to be blood on it but stuff that look terrible and too realistic. Food and CSI don't go along too well :P I am not sure what part of the auditory like this but i personally don't appreciate these views and turn my head away from the screen... damn it it looks so real. Still, it is a really good show, i enjoy the puzzles and the story lines.

The show started after the towers fell but Mac's wife, Claire, died during 9/11. They could do an episode where they're at Ground Zero but I think they won't in respect of the victims and the families.
