That is one of the most beautiful shots of a lightning storm. I love storms, and even though cloud to ground lightning is considered one of the most dangerous, I still find it quite marvelous if you catch the right moment of it. I plan to do photography and one of the many things I want to do is get still frames of the lightning strikes. The beauty, too me, is such a indescribable sight and it just brings me to tears from it and I get shivers all over.

I live in Canada, Ontario. One night there was a huge Thunderstorm. I got up because the whole house was rattling, I looked outside and the trees around my house were literally bending and cracking. Then all of a sudden there was this huge streak of lightening and a massive crackling noise. I'll never forget that one lightening bolt, it shot directly across the sky, not down to earth.. That was the most thrilling Thunderstorm. We never get those anymore though... :(
