Holy shit...I expect fans to retaliate to my comment here, but the singing in this performance is fucking atrocious...that being said, I looked for this because I enjoyed the studio version a lot. I mean like, they are really into looping, why doesn't he loop the yelping part? It seems to go on forever and is painful to listen to after a while. I'm not saying this to instigate some sort of online argument, I just couldn't ignore it.

they are not bad live. they just do bad shows sometimes like any other band. i've seen great performances of theirs but this one was not one of them. apart from the end which i really enjoyed!

@Streetfright If you think this is a great-live-quality performance you should try to find some real good live bands. Im a huge AC fan but this is borderline insulting for people paying tickets. I guess this is why the term "studio musician" exist.

This is awful. I like AC but every video post of them live does the great work they do on their albums no justice. I'm amazed how so obviously talented guys who expect so much from their studio work allow their live perfomances to be so poor. The only thing that sounds good is the programmed material.....sad :(

@drewmcscott Well, I think their live performances make a lot more "sense" when you put the band's history in context- by which I mean, their pre-Sung-Tongs era. Look up the album Hollinndagain, and you'll see what I mean. Also, for an example of a knockout live performance, I highly recommend checking out their appearance on BBC Breeze Sessions, from back in 2004! You can find in on the animalcollective . org website (for free, of course).

It's the other way around for me, since this is the first version of Brother Sport I heard, it was (and still is) kind of weird for me to listen to the studio version. Without bass just seems to bring it to me.

However I do agree with the lack of bass for My Girls live, I think they've been putting more bass in live versions lately.
