how did you do the checkered bit?

also how did you get the checkers to go golden?

@1995crazyeyes hi mate you just mask and cut out the chequer's then a gold over white base and fade as needed, hope this helps

what do you put on it so it can shine?

@jurgencelica hi mate i use a 2k (2 part laquer) clear coat 2-1 mix and about 3-4 coats depending on the surface sometimes up to 15 coats to give a deep shine see my custom scooter vid, hope this helps

@MrTheGrdo hi mate sorry for the delay, i just used normal 2k base coat metalics and areosol black and 2k high build primer.
