Just raced a 06 G35 AT with my 330Ci ZHP. Funny thing is that the 06 has 298HP and 260TQ stock yet his had an intake, chip and tune and it was dead even. Sad.

An Automatic 330ci will run 14.6-15.2

A manual one will run mid 14.2-14.5

A manual 330 ZHP will run 14 flat, automatic mid 14's.

Auto G35's run mid-high 14's with manuals edging out ZHPs if driven perfectly

that's not a 330ci stock or not stock.. i own a 330ci stock.. the bmw didn't have a sound? where is it? i can only hear the g35.. that's how i know it's not a 330

this looks about right me and my buddy race alot and i have a g35 and it has a way better acceleration than the 330 ci

just being honest anything below an m3 is slow bmw wise they may feel fast but they are not. even m3 could use some more umph

The 335i is fast, 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, the new m3 is very fast, both could take a g35 and a 350z.

i understand but im talking about the years in the video. i believe the 3 series is turbo now not all but certain ones, yes the new m3 is a beast. I dont like bmws though, for all the engineering they supposedly have the engines seem to be vanilla. lets say compare a g37 sedan to a 3 series or a 5 series. all around i would take the g sedan. im not a fan of infiniti but they are impressive. bmw for the money is a let down to me.

I see. And I am not a fan of the 5 series, or the 7. But I dont like the 335i sedan or g37 sedan, I perfer the coupe. I would take a 335i over the g37 just because I havent driven a g37, I drive a Chrysler crossfire, But over all of them just for the looks I would take the new bmw 135i convertible, looks great, very fast, and is more reasonably priced. But I love the way bmw's drive. And I have beat a 330i in my crossfire.

@iProtoShot ive driven almost every current bmw including the m6 and the x6m and ray lewis's b7 alpina btw it was black (and very nice inside and no you cant find that on the web)and the m3. I will tell you what I do for a living i am a interior cosmetic and exterior specialist ive driven rolls royce phantoms and lambos gt40s. so i think i have a clue as to what is fast as i am able to take these cars back to my shop from customers houses and from dealers. so yes i can tell the difference.

@iProtoShot all im saying is if its a saturday night and we are next to each other with our ladies in the car and we each punched it who would be embarrassed in front of their girl the g35 owner or the 330i owner. I just know there would be an overpriced car that would be beat that night. im talking about real life here not what some magazine is telling you.

I can appreciate what youre saying. but bmw's arent made for straight line racing, they work something similar to honda, high revs are where the power is. thats why itll pull really hard at the end of gears. really more for the track, all european are pretty much for that. they are crazy for that over there

i raced a 330with my 350z and it was about like this. Not sure about what year it was tho maybe an 03 or 04

i raced a 350z and kept even till about 100 then i pulled on him, but im not stock. 3.64 rear diff. so our torque is about the same only youd be lighter i think.

@JoshyM3 yeah a 350Z is lighter than yur M3, a bigger motor indeed and no back seat on a 350Z even w/ out your diff youd still smoke the 350Z, except if u took off like 60mph-100mph cuz of your gearing 3 gear is the weak one on a M3 and not to mention you geared to hit 180+ w/ out the 3.64

i have a g35 stock and i have raced several times with my buddy's 330 and belive me it was the same as in this video...NO CHANCE....:) maybe the new 335:) that car is a monster:) "respect"..... but 330 has nooooo chance ...even not close to a g35...

ya something is up there, it is always a close race between me and my bro. No way a stock G35 pulls away that easily from a 330,

Both great cars, i prefer the bimmer.
