Not doing all of that is reccomended for health reasons and to ensure a good life. Garments? Yeah, some of us wear them. Polygamy started in the church so the women whose husbands died would be taken care of (women couldn't own anything without a husband) Did they take advantage of that? Probably. There's a thing called HISTORICAL FACT. Your belief that Jesus physically came to the Americas is one based on FAITH, not facts. Nowhere in the Bible (which pre-dates the Book of Mormon) does it say that Jesus went to America (which would qualify as a secret Second Coming?). There's no non-biblical record of it either. Since the "revelation" of Joseph Smith is viewed as superior to Bible text, then I can see why you would ignore truth to follow fiction.
